August is the start of camp for most NFL teams. It's not some random date. It's the first time we will truly know if he can play football as we get to see him try to run around, make tackles, etc. with or without the brace.

I've never denied I don't know what's truly going on with Smith. I have no idea if he will play this year, two years from now, never, with a brace, without a brace, whatever.

But you don't know anything either despite you lecturing multiple posters on this topic. That's the point.

I know Jaylon has not been working out with the club because of the CBA.

I know that he is expected to participate in OTA's starting in May.

I know that there has not been one picture posted from this year that shows an AFO while there have been many that clearly show he is not wearing one.

I know that Stephen Jones still needs to see whether or not he needs an AFO to play football.

It's not hard to work from a factual basis. You should try it.

We have not seen an AFO in the videos he has posted working out with third parties this year. We have definitively seen him not wear one in stills of him out and about with family, friends, and fans.

You know that in the videos his ankles are taped up. You also know that he could be wearing a more streamlined AFO underneath his tape job.

I think this is an old picture as you can see Cowboys personnel in the background. And apparently he is wearing some brace under the tape job. He has another picture showing a streamlined brace he was wearing that clearly could be covered by tape.

Now in the end none of us really know what's going on or will go on with him. There clearly exists the possibility he may have to play with a brace. Its possible that he may need a brace to even do OTA type work before pads even come on. Or maybe he surprises us all and shows up a week from now and proclaims he doesn't need the brace. That's just the reality of this situation.

We just don't know.

As of January 3rd, Archer said that he had been running with a brace. Past tense. So now you have December. A month.

Still nary a pic in the new year and plenty of stills and videos without. At this point it's obvious you are not even going to try.

Notice the depth of dishonesty fuzzy quickly goes to.

In posts #134 & 137 he trumps up Todd Archer's claims that Jaylon was currently (as of January) running without a brace.

Then, after I educate him on the fact Archer went back and corrected himself and confirmed Jaylon indeed runs WITH a brace, fuzzy quickly pivots and tries to dismiss Archer's comments as old. You know, the very same comments he tried to stand on.

That's assuming his functionality in his foot is at the exact same level (meaning no progression) as it was back in August (8-9 months ago), requiring him to wear bulkier AFO.

There are much more streamlined AFOs out there, such as the examples provide below.

That's the irony is fuzzy's argument; he believes Jaylon only wears the same bulky/hinged AFO he wore back in August of last year, so he's effectively arguing that Jaylon hasn't made any progress.

The AFO shown here says that it's "not intended for cases of severe foot drop." If we are to believe Jaylon has made progress in his recovery from dropfoot, he should be progressing to slimmer looking units as shown.

I never said anything about him being in the dark. That is you and Syd's assertion that I disavow. I am just saying he doesn't have enough information to make a decision thus him saying "we will see."

I make no comment about the totality of his knowledge only his inability to come to a conclusion from it.

Him saying that he may or may not have to wear a brace is hardly contradictory with him not having enough information to make a decision at this time.
