Yeah I had my beefs with many before him. the espn crews last year were just awful.

You stole my response..lol.. that's exactly what I think,I've listened to many games he called this year,and although I think he still does a good job,I also think he is bored, Tony likes competition,there is none in broadcasting,I think he should get into coaching..and by the way,I could be a little biased,I'm a big Romo fan myself.

Th espn guys brian griese, and steve levi and I forget the black guy that was in there with them..was just gawd awful. That was 2021. Glad they switched that up. It was unwatchable. They never would stop talking over each other,

I've only seen replays of Summerall's call and they were boring, no enthusiasm in his voice

I think he’s the best at calling these games. I don’t see a drop off but I also don’t sit around analyzing analysts.

Going to add something else…the greatest was Summerall and Madden. Why? They had zero arrogance. Truly liked one another. Loved the game. Didn’t over analyze just to hear themselves. Never talked down to the audience.

I like them because they know when to be quiet and when to interject something we can understand as a casual fan. They get it. Buck annoys me at times talking about things unrelated to the game that I can't talk about here...but u get the idea. I will take them way before the cbs crew.
