people are more upset garrett isn't getting fired and using this as a reason to go WAH.

Because he is ignoring the REAL problem.
Well the REAl problem is Jerry but he isn't firing himself so...

Red has pictures of JJ in compromising positions. It's really the only explanation.

I'm surprised but hardly upset.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Ryan has been the DC of a top-10 defense-- ever.

His defenses in Dallas looked confused-- constantly.

And the lack of turnovers was abysmal.

Finally, even with the injuries, to not play more aggessive was head-scratching.

Even Zimmer, with his lack of talent on defense during the Parcells' era played more man-to-man.

It got to the point that I would wince whenever Ryan opened his mouth.

1 time with the Raiders, but I agree. Below average DC and very overrated.

so we've done all we're gonna do?
no more moves are going to be made?
everything has to be done all at once???

i'll wait for this to play out before i take a dump in my emotional panties.

Don't worry fellas.....Gruden has his own coordinator already.

JG will be gone soon.....

I've already qualified my angst with "Unless Garrett is gone as well" since he was the real problem.

I can't see Garrett getting the axe now. Generally the head coach is fired "and all assistants". They dont start lower and work their way up to the head coach.

I bet Judy Trammell is nervous right now. The girls were good early in the year but struggled late - especially the New Orleans game.

Garrett is going to get at least another season. At this point all an OC is what can be hoped for

The reason why people have their panties in a bunch if due to the fact that Rob Ryan has had VERY LITTLE to work with and is getting canned while certain other people in Valley Ranch have been here for damn near 7 years and have yet to yield comparable results to those we've fired.

Scapegoat city. Repeat of 2008 when we were making the offense more "Romo Friendly."

I am a huge Garrett supporter as a HC, but not as an OC. But after this Rob Ryan firing I'm done because its clear he uses other people as the fall guys for his own shortcomings. And this is supposed to be a LEADER? LOL.

If Garrett is fired (which he won't be I'm sure), I'd be all for Gruden coming in.

Here is what I think Jerry/JG are thinking....

They came to the realization that they cannot win because of Romo...but they can win with him..so they are sticking with what they now believe 3rd best QB in NFCE (maybe 4th if the one in philly turns to be good)

So what the Cowboys response to RG3 and Eli? DEFENSE..not just shut out defense..yet better a defense that creates TO's and even scores....

So don't be surprised if Lovie Smith is already lined up as your Dallas Cowboys next Defensive Coordinator....
