Rolando McClain Negotiations Not Good

So, he was that amazing, yet no one has expressed any significant interest in him? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Just like everyone else, our players get significantly over valued here. Was he solid? Yes. Was he some irreplaceable presence? No. Hitchens stepped in and played at damn near the same level, as a rookie!

With Hitchens and Lee back next year, I am absolutely happy with Brinkley in base looks and those two in nickle. There is also always the possibility of drafting another LB.

Our players get overvalued here yet other teams are handing out contacts to our players that we would never dream of matching.

From his girlfriend recently.

We "were" happy to be part of such a caring organization?

Using my UT education, this is talking in the past tense........this along with him deleting all his Cowboy stuff online tells me he is done here.

Use that UT education and check the date. She posted this the morning after our loss to GreenBay. Please don't act like my mother-in-law and over analyze everything.

Well, if we must talk about McClain... I've been an advocate of bringing him back, but that possibility is becoming more of a dream the closer when get to the draft. The idea of teaming him with Lee and Hitchens made me grin like Jerry Jones. The fear he put in opponents has been absent from Cowboys linebackers since Ken Norton Jr. I personally love the punishing tackles, but the reality is setting in that he was a one year rental. (I hope Greg Hardy doesn't turn out to be the same). I've accepted and actually am rooting for a high draft pick that will make an impact at MLB. The draft pick will be cheaper and will be here 4-5 years to form a trio of strength.

Talking about last season, which was you know, in the past. Deleting Cowboys stuff?? Maybe it's because he's aghast at Cowboy fans comments saying his play was average or LOL, no good. Gotta purge the negative nancies, it could be contagious.

Yeah that ONE tackle Ro had against SEA was the difference

When you find yourself in a hole the first thing to do is to stop digging

Yeah, cause the game clinching INT wasn't.....go back to your hole pal

I think this 4 game fine hurt him too. One more failed test he's suspended. Teams were iffy with him as it is and now w this fine teams are gonna be real weery of him. I think he retires honestly

Yep, and his concussion history has to be a factor as well.

You'd have to be BLIND to have missed the impact Rolando McClain had on the psyche of the Dallas Cowboys defense. When McClain was occupying the middle - the WHOLE defense played stout. i don't want to hear any mamby-pamby theories about Sean Lee... as talented as Lee is - he can't handle the punishment the Mike position must absorb.

Sign McClain and you extend the career of Lee and have a dude that can answer the bell in the middle for years to come... flake that he is. He's OUR FLAKE - and will knock your Richard in the dirt.

According to Broaddus, Lee is playing Will regardless of McClain's situation. Brinkley is capable of playing the first two downs. We know that Hitchens can play Mike and Gachkar probably can as well.

I guess its a damn good thing the team doesn't overvalue our players the way many around here do then, huh?

Not a single team has offered or had serious discussions with McClain (who the is about). That's pretty much the exclamation point and end of debate. If McClain was as good as some of the guys around here, and local writers wanted us to believe, wouldn't teams be lining up to sign the guy?

You're clearly just arguing for arguments sake.
