I disagree. This was necessary. He basically conceded the team to Dak to put to rest any drama. The media would have milked this Dak or Romo drama for the rest of the year. As odd as the press conference may have seemed, it was necessary.

Romo is a much better QB today if he's healthy. Period. End of story.

That's not to say I'd make a change either right now. You can't. But Romo is playing chess while Dak is still playing checkers. He'll learn to see it like Romo eventually, but not yet.

It's the O-line, yet with the same O-line we couldn't win with Cassel and Weeden last season. I think that some are looking for Dak to fail just to say that Romo is the better option. I think he's been a lot better since he's settled down but he became too much of a celebrity qb when Parcells told him not to.
