Vman said:Good find, Banned. I would have never believed this if someone had just said it.
If Romo is the guy, then so be it.
Banned_n_austin said:The smilies are cute ... but can you please explain to me with words why that is funny?
I'd prefer you use some logic, physics and just plain 'ole common sense ...
When you're able to dispute this with any facts or anything relevant ... and you still think it's funny. I could see why you would laugh.
But you're really making yourself look stupid ... the laws of physics are not in your favor here. There's nothing funny about this - genius.
blindzebra said:And how was the test run?
Did they use a gun on actual routes or was it like the state fair at the throw the ball booth?
Sorry, I'll go with what I saw in person under game conditions.
jobberone said:I watched Calico's vids and I thought Romo clearly had the best game. He got back and set up more. He was more fuild and appeared more confident. His passes got out quickly although I would agree they looked slower than some of Henson's. But my opinion is that Romo had much better field presence and definitely played better including stats. JMO but you can't argue with the fact he moved the team better although the team torpedoed all the QBs with penalties and the OL sucked.
I think Nors has presented his case well and with civility. I don't think he has been shown the same IMO.
And no I don't have an agenda. I'm pulling for them all. I want everyone to do well. I want Parcells to have a near nervous breakdown making decisions on who to cut.
I think we will see the same three another week at least and I see no real reason to bring a vet in right now.
And if Bledsoe plays as poorly next week and Romo continues to play well I suspect you will have the beginning of a media blitz about a QB controversy.
I don't think Parcells thinks Romo can beat Bledsoe but the two are closer to each other than I ever imagined. And Henson played well enough. albeit poorly IMO, to feel secure for now.

I'm supposed to trust the guy who's been on Henson's jock from the get go ... and you can accurately measures speed with those keen eyes, right Blind Zebra?
Give it a rest ... they measure using a radar gun ... and they measured it the same way they measured Brett Favres ... unlike almost all of your comparisons, this one is apples to apples.
Quit trying to spin it to suit your agenda ...
RCowboyFan said:You and Logic? .... And nice touch with those insults too
blindzebra said:Has Adbutcher been on Henson's jock?
I was there with several posters on two boards and everyone of us have said the same things about what we saw in person with our own eyes.
Don't believe it? I don't give a rat's butt.
It ain't an agenda when it's the truth.:jerk:
Banned_n_austin said:No, I meant explain it with words why that was funny?
... not back peddal into a defensive posture and act like you've provided some actual substance to why that would be funny ...
... stop it with your sly canniness act and add something to the discussion ... something objective ... something intellegent even perhaps ... it might not kill you if you stayed on topic either .... but that'd be straying from the norm ... you wouldn't do that ... bah bah bah is your favorite song, right?
Right?
Right?
Right?

Banned_n_austin said:You and whoever are trying to tell me that Romo was demonstrating his arm strength during warm ups just for you and the zone crew ... OK SURE! I'll buy that you were able to ***** his arm strength in warm ups ...
But BnA ... I saw him thrown in a game too!
Guess what?
I did too ... and none of his throws were long throws ... so you really, honestly and truley have nothing to base anything off of about his armstrength other than warm ups and short range passes ...
The point you make about his arm is pointless because he wasn't in any circumstance to ever show how strong his arm is ... he never had to make a long pass ... and don't think I'm stupid enough to believe that they're just firing away in warm ups ...
Having said that ... Henson really didn't show his arm strength either ... they weren't opening up the offense ... it was a ball control, short pass offense they were running ...
Banned_n_austin said:I was saying that yesterday and got the Henson agenda respose ... I guess it kills them that not only does he have the mental aspect of the game down better, but he's got the physical tools to beat him out too ... But here are the facts. Read 'em and weep.
Hate on him all you want. Be in denial about is attributes. Romo is going to beat out Drew Henson for the back up spot this year ... based on the mental aspect of his game, physical attributes and athletic ability ...
Romo belongs in the NFL.

blindzebra said:Last I checked, "He has a cannon," is not a scientific term, so I found it funny how you questioned him with the, "Argue with logic, I brought Physics buddy."
You brought an article about a measurement that is FAR from scientific.
How much do 40 times vary at the old combine?
How well to these "scientific" tests translate to the football field?
Nors said:Imagine this!
Henson is getting beat out by a small, undrafted QB with no arm strength who also is a full time golfer!
