The mods in here are actually pretty good... if you step a little over the line, as I have on occasion, they'll PM you with a calm, almost gentle, reminder of the rules of the board... and if you heed their admonitions, no grudges are held...

It's almost like they regret having to talk to you... as for threads like these, when they get thoroughly hijacked they generally wind up on another, more appropriate board...

I'd say the real no-nos in here are cussing, racist comments, threats toward other members, and to a lesser extent, political or religious arguments... trust me, I know boards where the moderation is MUCH stricter than on this board...

I also know boards where the moderation is, shall we say, somewhat relaxed, where you REALLY have to screw up to get in trouble...

Most boards I have used in the past have had next to no moderating. I can't really say I have done anything requiring moderation, but sometimes I stubbornly argue when it isn't the right time/place.

Most boards I have used in the past have had next to no moderating. I can't really say I have done anything requiring moderation, but sometimes I stubbornly argue when it isn't the right time/place.

but seriously, these mods here do a great job, they let alot of things go with a friendly PM of the forum rules and guidelines, yes, I've had one of them copy/paste and send me a PM of a rule lol, until it becomes a routine, and thusly a problem, but since you say you don't do much to require much moderation, you should be fine

btw, I'm probably the worst at stubbornly arguing on here

Second, I've enjoyed getting to know ya in this thread, and it has done good things for my post count, LOL...

That's how IFW's make forum buddies. Have to make sure we follow the same creed.

Well its how I do anyways. If they are fun to argue with and don't resort to incredibly childish comments (which I have been guilty of from time to time) they are aces in my books.

I am eagerly awaiting them. I suppose I could go on a mission to some Commander boards, but I really do not feel like registering to any of them.
