Scale from 1-10 how excited are you for the season?

Not sure I can put a number on it. But not as much as usual.
But a 10 after we knew JG was out, no matter who the new coach was going to be. 10 after the draft. But with no OTA's, mini camps, mo PS games, lack of usual TC coverage. I am not sure right now what a number would be. Higher than 7 though. Just really going ....argh...day to day.... LOL...
I just want the games to get here and start.
 
In view of a very good off season, a truly great draft, and what I believe will be a REAL HC for a big change, I can't help but be excited and anxious for the season to start. The Cowboys haven't had this many good things happening all at once for a long, long time.
Oh yeah a number.....10! :D
 
I honestly do not care right now. Everything is different now. It's not exciting right now. No anticipation at all. This is supposed to be very exciting time for me because college is about to get into full effect. Friday Night Lights here in Texas. And living in the the DFW, so many great teams. NFL right after them. But not this year. It isn't the same. I will watch because I am a fan but the passion will not be there.

Lmao. I am so sorry these athletes actually are using their voice and aren't just dancing and entertaining you. You guys are in the crowd that want these athletes to be robots and be here just for your entertainment. This is bigger than sports and they don't care about some guys yelling at clouds wanting them to shut up. At least the NBA allows them to have their voice unlike the dictator Goodell.

Should be about the fans. Mucking up the game with politics takes away from the game.
 
10. I love the game of football and Cowboys football. New season, new coaching staff and some very interesting new addition to the team.

I'm probably in the 5 range. But that's how I normally am after a bad season. I always have high hopes but low expectations. I don't think Garrett is out of my system yet. Maybe I'll be more excited when week 1 draws closer.

At a 10! We don't know what to truly expect from the defense. Offense we have an idea, because we return Dak & Kellen Moore. Having no preseason actually increases my intrigue for the season opener against the Rams. Lots of unknown against a good squad that we've faced multiple times in the previous years. Just the thought of the camera zooming in on MM during the game instead of seeing the clapper gives me goosebumps.

About a 4. Jerry has fooled me before. By about week 6 it might change.
 
I am at a firm 5, can go either way on this because I have doubt it's going to come off as planned.

I wonder if this season will end up being the Season of Who's in/Who's out?

Every season has the element of the unknown going in but nothing like this one.

Due to obvious reasons, there's going to be an asterisk next to who wins a championship this year no matter what the sport is. They've already dubbed the NBA playoffs as the "Disney Championship."
