To recap - Arizona castoff, okay

Detroit castoff, not okay. Despite a huge improvement at our RG play last year.

One dismal team's castoff is viewed as superior to another dismal team's castoff....I wonder why?

Oh, that's right. Because it's not rational with some people regarding Parcells. It's personal.

Ridiculous...

to recap -

don't bother trying to talk to me about it - just make up a bunch of crap and laugh at my posts and feel superior over there.

DID I SAY KOSIER WAS BAD?

no. i never said that - but he *WAS* a detroit cast off.

you wanna live up parcells arse, have a day. but that doesn't mean i have to agree with you or your "let's make fun of the parcells bashers cause my parcells hard on still lingers" crap.

again - kosier could be a good player, but no one was really after him, were they?

parcells did some great things for this team. OL moves were NOT on that list. make fun of me all you want but the record speaks for itself.

when you say cast-off, you imply that that person is not very good

uh, it was reported that 8 teams were after Kosier, there's a reason we signed him the 1st day of FAgency

and Kosier was good

DID I SAY THAT YOU SAID KOSIER WAS BAD?

putting it in caps didn't help. :(

that's clearly the point.

Detroit's cast-off is scorned.

Arizona's cast-off is viewed as a legitimate effort.

Both are dismal organizations - apparently the difference in your view lies in whether or not you've "heard" of the player.

And whether or not he was brought in by Parcells.

Oh dear....:laugh2:

Once again Deadskin makes me laughings at them for fools.

All those millions of Snyder money gone to waste away with nothing to show on it but losses and such hee har hee.

Mister Jerry Jones no his talents. And he cut Fabini loose like he a big number two. And then old senility Gibbs say he gonna picks him up for true. Stupidness suckers they are!!

Even better check out Fabinis statesticals over at NFL.com right hear.... http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/12356

He dont not got no strong playings on the record. Just a bunches of zeroes-- zeroe sacks, zeroe intercepts, zeroe tds, and zeroe passes defensed!!

Ha har hee!!

Yet money grub Snyder open up his checkings accounts to pay wild moneys like he has found him some pretty good smelling hi class tipes tricking theyselves on Division street behind the bowling alley.

What a losing bunch them Deadskin is now an will be always forever!

That's a pretty fair statement. I liked Gurode, but many were down on him before last year. Adams is a good point. I wasn't too jazzed about Kosier and am still skeptical, but he was okay. I was just pissed about LA being waived as he is one of my all time favorite players.

the Larry Allen situantion and the Emmitt Smith were his most questionable moves because of what they represent to the fans. Most of us want them to retire as Cowboys and it's just hard when they get up there in years. Jerry just couldn't afford the CAP space on guys on the downside of their carreers (He can thank his loyalty to Novacek, Aikman and Johnston for that). He had to take a calculated risk as to gauge how much left they had in the tank. A lot of HOF's have finished their illustrious carreers elsewhere. It's just than other than Tony Dorsett, it hadn't happened to us very often.

LOL, he's the same guy that couldn't beat out Colombo, who by the way was coming off rehab. The Commanders expect something out of this slob? Please!

InmanRoshi liked it too. I remember because it was about the only thing in my history of posting I have ever agreed with him upon. :laugh2:

Either way, he still was good enough to beat out Petitti while being banged up through most of camp.

I just like bustin on you about the Fabinin thing Junk-- You're a solid poster and if this is the worst I can heap on you then you've done pretty well. :)

I do agree with that to a degree. But when you hear that he made a couple of moves despite input from his staff, it makes you wonder.

For instance reports are he was told to steer clear of Rogers. I got a report last year that the entire staff wanted Petitti over Fabini and he vetoed it. Pittdawg basically verified that Rob was told the same thing.

I had high hopes for Ryan Young and Marco Rivera. If you remember I was opposed to Fabini. It pissed a lot of people off.

Just seems like he was snake bit at OL moves here. Columbo paid off.

Fabini was released by the Jets before he came here, and they were saying the same thing we are saying now, is that he has lost it. When he was signed I was shocked and I actually though he would get cut before the first game of the year.

he was coming off rehab too.

i still liked fabini. he was playing LT just a year earlier, so he couldn't be THAT bad.

the decision to cut pettiti i think rested with what was on the roster and his potential. they had mcquistan and colombo as potential Ts. why have pettiti, if you're going to need someone to play this year? fortunately colombo panned out, so you can mark him as proven, and go after another potential player.

Only we thought he was a TE. :D oops.

I wanted to use an example I thought everyone here might be able to relate to.

True story. No matter WHO brings them in. :laugh2:

I did a break down last year of the league's best Olines, where they were picked, how long they had eben together, to see what was most important. Clearly continuity was it. I'm sure that still holds true with the dominant lines of last saeson.

I did something similar.

Did I express a desire to "win" anything?

I thought chuckling was gentler than shouting "hypocrite!" My apologies for not being more forthright.

Combine Poetitties and Flabbini and you get a tub full of shart. Thus, consider this team minus one tub of shart. Good day.

And congratulations to the Deadskins.

I continue to be disappointed over Petitti's release. The others you have to live with. Lots of bad luck in there.

not sure why many misunderstand that release. Petitti lost his job to columbo, then he lost the developmental player roster spot to pat mcquistan.

Mcquistan is who cost petitti his job.

you sure do run around to get your "shots" in, sp. i realize bp must be like a god to you, but that's TO YOU. you may feel i'm blinded by my hatred for bp's being our coach and yes, you may well have a point.

but you're now acting like you're blinded by bp and his "greatness" so any "shot" i take you must defend.

whether i'm right or not.

8 teams after kosier? ok, link please?

we know davis was offered more in ny and we know the skins were after him too. these mythical 8 teams just make me wonder now. maybe so, but if there's bidding by 8 teams you don't get a bargain, so please show me these 8 teams and the proof they were seriously interested in kosier.

there's a reason davis went for more than kosier, even considering the salary cap. davis is either a better player or more potential - regardless of which team he came from.

you wanna run around and defend bill, i guess feel free. but it gets old at the YOU THINK WHAT? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA crap that begs a fight in return.
