Or posters who feel comfortable with each other could exchange phone numbers or email addresses privately. I've done so with a couple of people here.
You never asked for my number. Hmph. Are those posters all young and firm with no sagging belly or man boobs? I gave you the best posting years of my life and this is the thanks I get? Lol.

Ok let’s see….Mickey Spags is on the Jones payroll. I’m sure he’s heard the radio interview where Jerry threatened to fire radio hosts for having the audacity to ask the owner and GM a semi-tough question in the midst of the worst home loss in decades. And those radio guys aren’t even on the Jones payroll. So the odds of getting an opinion from Mickey that is the unvarnished truth is about as likely as snow in downtown Dallas on July 4th.

I lost all journalistic respect for Spags when he was on the former flagship radio station “The Ticket” back about 20 years ago. He was incredibly rude and argumentative to anyone on the air who did not worship at the Jones throne. He’s famous in the DFW area as a first class jerk to the real journalists that cover the team.

Occasionally, certainly rarely, Mick writes a decent story. But emphasis on rarely. I wish I could post here the audio of him arguing with Dallas radio hosts Craig Miller and George Dunham from The Ticket about 15-20 years ago, who were simply asking if it was time for Jerry to consider a different approach. Spags could have politely declined and said, “That’s my employer.” But he goes full on attack.

So sorry for my lack of enthusiasm for Mickey Spagnola’s opinions. He gives the infamous “Baghdad Bob” a run for his money on just saying what the boss wants said, regardless of veracity.
Well written and true! Guy likes to put his Cowboy/Jones slant in everything and then acts like a petulant child when called out. He’s Rowdy without the costume. But still a clown. I pay no attention to what he says

You responded to words...wooo hooo. See a recruiter or get a degree or have a $100,000 income tax filing...try talking football, not attitude, guy.

Playing with words isn't reasonable discussion. Boring?
LOL...this guy thinks a barely 6-figure income is a remarkable achievement in intelligence and accomplishment.

"Playing with words"...on a sports message board. What in the entire fig newton!

They now have a younger coaching staff which brings energy. They plan on running the football to set up the play action pass. They cut Zeke and have a deep draft of running backs to chose from. They have picks 12 and 44 that gives them a chance at some outstanding players. They can create 100 million cap space. There is a lot to be excited about.
There's a lot to be hopeful for, but IMO, it's much too soon to get excited.

Well, in my defense, I have a sagging belly and am developing man boobs, so I figured you wouldn't want my number.

You did "over come" wrong.

I mean your AI processor did.

What a bunch of horsey sauce anyway.
You excell at non-applied insult...try football, not attitude.

Doing that with prolonged usage no where approaches class in action.

I'd rather have rocky be sincere about it. I'm good with different opinions and outlooks.

But...if insulting good fans and fellow board members is done just for kicks...well what a sad pathetic human that would be.
Pipe down, poo poo head. Oh .... wait.

Standards aren't crap even if they are the standard in after action and true analysis.

I'm a fan, not a stud because I talk crap about my team, and not my own disappointments instead. The technique creates less than respect of both, the sport and Cowboys' team. That bragging about true values involved? Or chosen attitude?

He's good....taking a break from all the old BS....hopefully, this new BS will bring him back.
He and Pappy are probably hanging on the beach and laughing at us! Lol
You know something, I bet that many of the posters here don't even own a Harley Davidson!

Oh...you had to edit that! Couldn't even spell "the" right the first time!

And you are right...many do not own a Harley. Who do they think they are anyway!

In my neck of the "woods"...even careful bike owners get creamed.

Spags is what he is. Once you realize that he will always support the team's decisions no matter what, you can obtain some good facts from reading his editorials. But, just realize he will only present facts that are skewed to support what he wants to say. He conveniently ignores anything that disputes his point of view. He is not a journalist, but a spokesperson for the team basically.
I am pretty ambivalent about the head coaching hire. Just more of the same from the regime in charge. But, I did think it funny that he didn't throw out one of his favorite lines, "If Schotty is so great, why didn't anybody else want him?".

Nothing said in the article is wrong I mean he's right most everything is just facts and telling people to just wait and see the results before making these judgments yes I realize that sometimes the beat writers that work directly for the star might seem like homerism but this article makes sense and now people are on it like it's too positive and slanted towards the front office and it's really not...

No other team was interested in hiring this guy as HC, why should anyone be excited about this hire?
It represents change on some cosmic level. It is better than nothing. If Shotty brings us juice in what is still gonna be a down year I'll take it. What say you? I have been a Debbie downer for the last year and decided that helped us nowhere. So I choose to love my team always and bring forth cheer and happiness to the board. Trust me it is better from this view than the dreadful other one. I believe. Go Cowboys!!!!!

Did you realize that other teams hirings that replace some of these Hotshots they lost were also out there available and pretty much no names I don't really recognize any of the new Detroit hires they lost a lot and yet they didn't fill them with superstars same with I mean first of all I didn't even know who Liam Cohen was he has one good year now he's over with the Jaguars a lot of his staff are also question Marks and also Tampa Bay filled that OC spot with someone I guess has to be less than what they lost so this isn't a Jerry Jones thing when it comes to maybe getting a coach that nobody saw as available or wanted...

And there seems to be some controversial hires at other NFL teams it is at best indifferent you use the word ambivalent but it's yes you it's kind of wait and see the results before you make a judgment it may not be the most popular but I kind of like the staff that's been put together now we gotta see it on the field and the only way it makes any sense is if Jerry and Steven do just a little bit more this offseason we know not to expect greatness at a free agents but we gotta hope that the draft and free agency are used as a support system to prove them right on this hire....
