To just tell him "I don't want you around the facilities" while still purposely keeping him on the Dolphins roster and paying him 7.5 million against the cap is in essence paying him to not play football.
Obviously he expected Taylor to be part of the team. Otherwise he would have released him and used his salary to outbid the Jets for Calvin Pace to play Taylor's position.
But then he couldn't make a trade. He knows Jason Taylor is worth plenty on the trade-market. Bill Parcells is using Jason Taylor for his own advantage and Taylor also knows it.
