Reed is a better safety than Roy. Reed's run support is better than Roy's coverage. And Reed's coverage skills are on par with Roy's run support.

Reed is the better overall safety.

Not that it matters a whole lot, but if you were to put this to poll, Reed would win by a landside (outside of Texas).

And for reason.

I would do the deal on that alone.

Reed is only one year removed from being DPOY. He is as complete as you can get (sans a younger Dawkins)

Maybe I need to rethink this but I would trade our #1 pick to Bal today for Ed Reed. Ed, Roy, TNew, and Henry. With the way the cap keeps going up and the shape we're in we can afford it. Grab an OLB or OG in 2 and 3 and we're off and Sprinting.
