All we knew about Harris was his return skills because the Cowboys never gave him enough opportunity to show what he could do at receiver. Newman's confidence was shot along with the rest of the team which is why the Cowboys kept losing season finale elimination games. Pacman was a punk and Jerry knew it just like he knew Alonzo Spellman was a nutcase and Greg Hardy abuses women. When Jerry thinks he has a SB contending team he takes chances on low character players and dumps them as soon as reality slaps him in the face that his team isn't that good and players like that are only .

When you have a great OL any back should be a good fit but CMike was never given a good chance. The Commanders cutting him means nothing they're as screwed up as the Cowboys. Championship caliber teams know how to get the most out of players. The Pats do it all the time picking up players off the street like Blount and getting the most out of them. Andre Holmes another receiver the Cowboys cut also had more TD's than Dez this season.

The fact you bring up Holmes to compare to Dez shows you are reaching for a way to bash the front office. When questioned why the Commanders cut Michael, you bash them as well.

Fact remains all 32 teams felt they had better options on their roster than Christine Michael. He would be out of the NFL right now if Rawles didn't go down.

As far as Harris, we didn't need him to play. We have consistent had one of the better passing games in the league with Romo. If Romo thought he could play, he would've played. Its not like he is killing it in NY as a receiver. Anyways I'm gonna focus on this game.

While team was a mess this season. Situational running had a lot to Do with having the worst passing game in the league. I would suspect McFadden would've been better if we had a healthy Romo.

The Vikings were ranked 31st in passing in 2012 having a worse QB situation than the Cowboys but that didn't stop Adrian Peterson from gaining almost 2100 yards. He was terrific in short yardage carrying the Vikings to the playoffs that season. With the OL the Cowboys have that featured 3 pro bowlers this season there's no excuse for being the worst team in the league on 3rd and one. That has nothing to do with your passing game because teams run the ball on 3rd and one.

Holmes scored 4 TD's on only 14 catches. He wasn't targeted near as much as Dez despite Dez missing a number of games with injury. Heading into the 2015 season Dez had scored more TD's than any receiver in the league the past 3 seasons.

You really are a small picture guy. The big picture is that Holmes is a poorer version of Terrance Williams. They do well as the 3rd or 4th receiving option, which usually results in a high TD to reception ratio. Very similar to Alvin Harper. Make them the 1st or 2nd option and their effectiveness and efficiency go way down. And Williams is much better at it than Holmes. It just sounds good to throw out that Holmes had more TDs than Dez this year. It tells none of the story, but it has much more pizzazz.

I don't have to reach to bash the FO going 4-12 does the work for me. Not being able to get past the second round of the playoffs in 20 years says it all about the FO. The FO made the decision to go with Weeden as the backup and sign McFadden while keeping Randle in the fold who they knew had off the field concerns. The FO cut their backup QB and their starting RB during the season that's how unprepared this team was for the 2015 season.
