Tony has lived a charmed life being the Cowboys starting QB for the last 10 years.

He'll be just fine wherever he lands.

Never was a big fan of Tony Romo.. When the game was always on the line he failed as an athlete.

Dear Tony Romo,

I will still wear your jersey, even when you're another ex-Cowboys great that goes on to win a Super Bowl with another team.

I'm sorry you had to deal with Jerry Jones.

Love,

You must not have watched when games were on the line.

0-3 in end of season, win or go home games. 2-4 in the playoffs. Those were his "biggest" games. 2-7 record. What am I missing here? Good QB but not good enough. 2 wild card wins in his decade long career. That's one more than Tim Tebow and Brock Osweiler. Both of those guys matched Tony's peak in the playoffs (divisional round exit) their first year as starters. And both are not good QBs.

Ready for a much needed direction at QB. His act got old and stale. A few good seasons mixed in with mediocrity or not even suited up because of injury.

100 Mill says I don't feel sorry for him.
This. I'm a big fan of his, and thoroughly wish he got a ring here, but I am not going to feel sorry for him in this situation. That's absurd. The guy has made obscene amounts of money and lives an amazing life.

Great QB who made us relevant once again, unfortunately he was never blessed with a defense and an offense at the same time. Never could he sit back and expect his defense to hold a lead for the win. Always had to be the Gunslinger to make us competitive.

Oh Barry Church. I will always remember you. You were the greatest ever. I am sorry you never won a Super Bowl. I wish you luck against everyone but Dallas. You deserved better.

Not feeling sorry for him in this situation doesn't not inherently denote a lack of appreciation.
Absolutely. I don't feel sorry for him at all. I feel sorry for us having Jerry run this team.

I'll never forget the 2011 game at SF. Broken ribs, punctured lung... and never made excuses. Finished that game strong and didn't miss a single game afterwards.

Tough SOB I was proud to call our QB. Thanks for the memories, 9.

this.

One the top 4th quarter QBs in NFL history(proven by facts not talk) and you still have this brain dead, short bus mantra in existence.
Oh well. The silver lining to him being gone is there'll be less of this stuff.
