I was listening to the sideline reporter at the SF/AZ game, after halftime she asked Bruce Arians about adjustments and he said that he ripped into the oline for a poor first half. Boy do I miss Jimmy.

Arians is one of the best head coaches in this league.

He is genuine. He will call it like it is and does not bother to be a politician. He has cut players in front of the whole team to get their attention and realize he meant business.

Very envious that the Cardinals have him.

No opinions or speculation to be found here - simply empirical, factual data:

Offensive Ranking (PPG):

2010 - #7
2011 - #7
2012 - #15
2013 - #5
2014 - #5
2015 - #29

Defensive Ranking (PPG):

2010 - #31
2011 - #16
2012 - #24
2013 - #26
2014 - #15
2015 - #17

43-38 overall record. 1 season over .500. 1 division title. 1 playoff appearance. 1 playoff win. Offensive weapons in the top five rankings of their respective positions. A defense that barely can squeeze into the top half of the league in a good year.

We work and live in a results-driven world. These results are not acceptable.

If the endgame is mediocrity, then I guess we're doing just fine. I would like to strive to be more than average.

Top 10 offense, top 5 last two years. QB goes down for basically the season. Production falls off. Fire the coach. Can't argue with fan logic.....

It does that matter if we have the #1 offense. The records each year are the only thing that matters. And we all know what those have been.

He is happy being a yes man making 6 million a year. Hard to blame him really. He is smart just doesn't know how to coach, at all.

Why does everybody assume that Garrett is smart? Just because he graduated from Princeton. He did not major in a tough curriculum. I believe it was History. He is just very opportunistic and the Jones Family has an extreme infatuation with the Garrett Family. Right place right time. Put him in a different place or team and he would be a JAG.

I believe he is smart because he is stealing 6 million a year from Jerry not because his dad got him into Princeton.

If Garrett had any of the "Right Kind of Guy" in his own psyche, he would go to Jones and say "I can't do it, let me be the coach in charge of cheerleading and pick Sean Payton to coach this team"

realistically, he IS a smart individual...so it is veritably impossible for him to not see the shortcomings of this team from a coaching standpoint...if that is the case, is he just fine collecting paychecks and leaving everything to the Jones'?

JG makes $115,000 per week !!!!!!!!!!!!! 52 weeks
(be nice wouldnt it ??)
So no one is gonna quit a job paying that much.

Weeden was here for 2 years

Weeden was not theveason we lost any of the games he started. The defense collapsed against Atlanta and New Orleans, and New England was...well...New England.

Slowwwwww your roll there, partner. I'm gonna go off topic here for a second, but ANY degree from an Ivy League should be highly regarded and no, history absolutely is not an easy degree, particularly with Princeton's curriculum. Garrett can't coach his way out of a paper bag, but the guy is absolutely book smart.

I keep seeing people here clamoring or Garrett to get the axe which we all know he won't. Hypothetically here, who is even available that we could bring here that would work under Jerry?

Yeah, and with all that clamoring, I haven't read one realistic name to bring in...other than Peyton, which won't happen.
