hahahahaha post of the day. how about those apples cards!! felix for boldin, and throw in maybe patrick crayton and a draft pick ....wow for real? loldjtavo;2734334 said:How bout Fitzgerald for Crayton ?
jobberone;2734617 said:Well Austin is worth a #2 if anyone wants to sign him. Or did anyway. He's worth what someone will give for him.
And I wasn't going to put a LOL in but I'll personally go to VR and whip Jerry's arse if he traded Jones for Boldin. You're right. Boldin is proven. He's also proven to be difficult. Jones has something elite and not just IMO. No way I trade him st8 up like that. Not now. I'll take my chances on Felix.
numnuts23;2734524 said:Man, what a difference a year makes!!
I remember this time last year - so many on here (including myself) wanted no part of Felix out of college. I remember when we drafted him, the chat room on here exploded in anger.
He didn't have the blazing "timed" speed everyone said (40 wise). Sure he put up big numbers in college - but he also had McFadden to lean upon. The NFL is much faster than the SEC, and he can't just turn the corner in the NFL.
And now - one year later - you wouldn't even trade him for A. Boldin!!
Now don't get me wrong, neither would I, but it's just funny thinking back on it now.

BigWillie;2734568 said:Blasphemy. Trading a player who has carried the ball more than 5 times in only 3 games in his entire career for one of the better WRs in the NFL? What an idiot.
This thread really makes me laugh I must say.

Other than that - great post.

now maybe choice in the deal with crayton, and a draft pick, but thats all

The Panch;2734339 said:He made big plays over a 4 game span. How does that in any way equate to what Boldin has been doing for half a decade?? Mostly with jokers at QB. Obviously, the contract demands would make me hesitate, but I dont see any comparison between the two whatsoever.
RB is the easiest replaceable position in football. We're in an era of pass happy offenses and smash mouth football teams that rely on tandem backs and unless you're delivering Adrian Peterson to me, I dont see one back in the league worthy of bending over backwards for.
twentytwo;2734655 said:Ha I just thought it was funny that you used the word "st8." I'm just messing around with you though.
I definitely agree with what you're saying. There's a chance Felix can be a really special player...which is why now would not be the right time to trade him for Boldin.
Plus, we haven't REALLY had the chance to see what Roy can do.
Fast forward one year, and this MAY be something to consider....but I doubt it.
I think Roy is going to prove a lot of people wrong...and I think Felix is going to show that he is an incredibly versatile weapon.
The Quest for Six;2734695 said:YAWN!!!!!!!!!! Why some of you people continue to perpetuate this asinine subject about Boldin coming to dallas is beyond me...it's not happening!!!!!
Just like Peppers, and lewis wasn't coming to dallas...
Oh, I know what the problem is, Stop playing Fantasy football.....
The Quest for Six;2712351 said:Is this the same garbage high ranking clown that said Dallas wouldn't trade for a wide receiver before the trading dealine last season, and then four days later, traded three picks for Roy Williams...... one thing about the Dallas Cowboys when it's lead by thee biggest clown in Jerry Jones, Never say Never!!!
Indeed. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe Tashard Choice + Crayton + Sunday round draft pick.TheCount;2734319 said:They can kiss my tush if they want Felix for Boldin.
