I haven't given up on Dak yet. He has to overcome an inept FO, bad HC, mediocre OC, outdated scheme, bad defense, injuries and suspensions. A 2nd year QB can't beat those negatives, not even Brady.

Now, he may turn out to be a dud in the long run but he is the least of the teams problems right now. The coaches are not up to par. They are failing miserably.

Even if he is a bus driver he's a damn good one at that. Plenty of those have won it all in this league. Look around you man, game winning QB are at a premium in this league.

Last 5 Super Bowl QBs -

Brady - stud
Manning - stud (admittedly had one of best defenses ever that year)
Wilson - stud (uses his legs when nothing’s there and had one of best defenses ever)
Flacco - had a great deep ball when he won
Eli - (was on one of his insane hot streaks plus had great pass rush)

Point is the QBs may over their career be just pro bowl caliber and not all pro but during their run they were playmakers. Dak has yet to try to be a playmaker yet

All I'm going to say is that Dak is going to get chewed for playing as poor as he did. He is the QB and can't play as terribly as he did and expect to win. The defense kept them in the game in the 1st half and the offense did not generate any points to put pressure on Phillyl

Matt Butt-fumble Sanchez's first two years at Jets both went to play AFCCG. You just never know.
This and even look at RGIII who set the league on fire his rookie season and after that we know the rest. I just some people can't be rationale because its a player on the Boys. If it was somebody on a division rival playing like Dak dudes would be sing a different tune

I throw this nugget out.

With a competent, innovative offensive coaching staff, I suspect our WRs would magically look better.

Funny how stuff like that works. Crappy players suddenly look better with competent coaching.

See Smith, Alex.

The team isn't built around Dak though and that's a positive. We can win with him I believe but we'll need to vastly improve our D.

When the opponent scores over 30 points, Cowboys are 0-4.

When the opponent scores under 30 points, Cowboys are 5-1.

Yep, clearly QB is the issue.

So 7 and 9 points in back to back weeks isn't an issue? Common man, The D is bad to say the least but Dak has looked awful this past 2 weeks w/o Zeke, + we can't blame Chaz Green for this one.

He had a bad game. It happens. He’s shown the talent on the field on numerous occasions. The coaching staff just flat out stinks, top to bottom. This team will never win anything with Garett-top here.

Dak is more than good enough to win.
Yes he is. He was not getting protected at all. But, he is seeing the rush right now and that will make a good QB average once his head goes towards self-preservation first and seeing coverages second. How about the bad OL protection guys? Is Tyron the glue that holds these guys together? I am shocked how bad they have been in protection just because Smith is out.

Also, Flacco took his game to a whole other level in the 2012 playoffs. A level he hasn't even come close to reaching again.

Really? Didn't we just lose the last two games and managed to score only 16 points? Remember, we got 7 points off a Matt Ryan interception and 3 more off a switzer kick return so the offense has only scored 6 points the last two games. If QB play isn't the problem, than what is?

Dak doesn’t hit the deep ball with or without Tyron/Zeke. The teams that typically win are the ones who make the big plays.

He has no accuracy above 15 yards. You can’t win with that.

We have no foot speed among the receivers, guys who scare the other team. They are all possession receivers. We concede 1/3 of the field to the other team because of this. Could this be a reason we never see Dak trying or making throws over 20 yards?

Common man, we rushed for 112 yardes in the game and most of those yards were in the first 3 quarters.
Our Oline played well, sometimes you just got to tell it like it is, Dak sucked big time tonight, can't fault the oline for this one.

coaching? we've had several 8 and 8 seasons with Romo, and this team largely looks like those 8 and 8 years
