Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Fans will apparently be talking about the epicness of 2014 for generations to come.

Yep. 3 wins against non-playoff teams, and knocked down and knocked out by the one playoff team he did face. How about his 8 turnovers in the 4 games he did play in last year?

19 out of a possible 32, and now 34 games. No other starting quarterback comes close to that amount of missed time. Some actually miss 0 games.

I don't see anybody asking for your help. If anyone wants to know how and why things get out of hand in this forum, look no further than smug, inaccurate, off-base comments like this one. You instigate hostility and bad feelings around here.

"If Romo can stay healthy". That's like the search for UFO's or Bigfoot, vainly chasing after something that doesn't exist. Facts are facts. Some people can accept them while other people's fandom won't allow them to.

Dak has played well enough to have this team 2-0, and he's stayed healthy. Romo has done neither. If Prescott keeps holding up his end of the bargain, Romo shouldn't be handed anything.

15-4, Stash. 15-4.

LOL...........you talk as if its rocket science. Dak is the real deal. If you cant see that, then that isnt my problem. People are talking about it all over the NFL. I guess Aikman doesnt know what he is talking about either right?
Again, agenda. You've anointed Dak as the next Joe Montano/Tom Brady after two games in his rookie year. Don't get me wrong. I hope he turns out to be that good. Newsflash!!!! He isn't at this point.

Jason Witten basically said today that it's ridiculous to think Romo isn't the better option this year if healthy. He's right.

You can't spoon-feed the offense to Dak all year. Good teams will destroy us that way.
Good teams have been destroying the Cowboys for 20 yrs.

And as much as I love and respect Witten, it's also "ridiculous" to look to him for an unbiased opinion on the situation. He's Romo's BFF and they're tied at the hip.

I have yet to see that happen. Again, the facts are that Prescott has done everything on his end to have the team 2-0, and unlike Romo last year, hasn't turned the ball over once, that's undeniable.

I have to admire the way you smack these cats around the board with common sense.

Just 18 months ago, he threw a perfect pass to Dez Bryant that should have put Dallas in the championship game. He was 3-1 last year. That's 15-4 in his last 19 games.

I can't help you learn football. If Romo can stay healthy, he's infinitely better than Dak right now. Let Dak learn like Romo, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, and others have.
You're right you can't help me learn football and obviously you can't help yourself but carry on with the fantasy

Dak looks NOTHING like a spoon fed QB. The guy is playing incredible. Sounds like someone is missing their wittle Tony Romo a little bit.

You've got to understand what teams are doing to Dallas right now. It's worked perfectly, but Kirk Cousins un-worked it.

Sell out against the run and make Prescott beat you. He's doing a great job not stepping in the bear trap, but he's also not yet savvy enough to make them pay for their arrogance. One day, he will. Like Romo would.

You mean when Dallas started 2-0 with Romo?

C'mon, dude.

Honestly do you believe the stuff you're writing? As I already said Dak should have three touchdowns right now and the team should have already paid I would expect he'll find The End Zone this week I'm somebody will actually catch the ball

Someone can still be stupid and be capable of understanding that you cant help your team mates when you are injured and you cant play.
But that's not what this thread is about now, is it. It's about Romo being the starter when he's over the injury. Your statement makes zero sense. No one is saying Romo should be playing now when he obviously can't due to the injury.

If I'm reading this right, you're saying Doug Free is the one who made Dak possible--by playing at a level we felt comfortable letting Parnell walk? If so, you'd better watch your back, because I know at least one poster here who's going to be gunning for you, brother.

Well since you bring it up Idg, Parnell's release definitely had to do with the FO's confidence in Free, unless they were targeting a RT in the draft which never materialized or thoughts on a FA pick up. I know his 6 1/2 mill on the books didn't look very appealing to them. So if that certain someone is gonna go gunning for someone, they'll have to look beyond me. Sure wasn't my decision. Besides, I'm packin. See my avatar. Plus I'm a Marine. And we don't lose gun fights. You know that. :) But you make a good point. The FO's confidence in Free indirectly played a part in the acquisition of our potential heir apparant franchise QB.

Sorry, but that totally ignores Week One. He did make that defense pay, repeatedly. If his teammates do their part, the team is scoring touchdowns, not field goals. And the Cowboys win the game in a rout.

If the team and front office had done their part over the past 10 years and played good defense and put just an average Oline on the field with Romo, he'd probably have a Super Bowl win or two. What's your point?

My god man......you like Garrett as our head coach. What kind of a reputation do you think that affords you?
