The Garrett bashing is trite, tired, and lacking in truth

Success and Failure rises to the top, and we all know the Jones boys aren't going anywhere. Will McClay has been doing his part extremely well. Who's the next in line? The head coach?

You guys act like its a shock people are frustrated with perpetual mediocrity. Rational or not, people will call for blood if there's no results. Look at the Miami coach, and he has Ryan Tannehill, a joke of a QB.

Let's see how the season plays out. However, 1 successful season out of 5 seems more like an aberration than an actual improvement.

When Romo and Dez were here Garrett went .500 3 out of 4 years. We are in year 5 of the Garrett regime and I'm still shocked that folks still defend this guy. Good coaches find a way to win some of these games, not make excuses year after year. Garrett went 5 and 3 with a back-up QB and, according to folks here, a much lesser team, in 2010. That was one of the reasons I thought he was the right guy for the job. Well, 5 years later, we're no better off and still making excuses. We needed to steal Atlanta and NO and we failed to take advantage. Even Jerry knows what he has in Garrett if you just listen to what he says.

I don't think so. You have a link?

Garrett worked for Linehan in Miami. They are on the same philosophical page. Their differences are more nuanced than substantive, but Garrett has final say as head coach over what is run.

So will this remain Garrett’s system?

“I’d call it we’re putting together our system,’’ Linehan said. “There is a lot of carry-over.

He said putting together our system and there is carry over. Not like it's all Garrett. I don't know if you payed attention, but Linehan in Detroit never ran the ball very much and yet since he's been here the Cowboys have ran the ball as much as anyone in the NFL. If there is carry over then obviously that means Garrett deserves credit for that as well. Obviously that wouldn't fit the agenda though.

He said, there is "a lot of carry over". It's clear that it's not his offense. Like I said, it's a JG's offense that Linehan tweaked.

Learn to read. As I said, I don't make up stuff like you.

Show us. Otherwise there is no proof you're not talking out of your ***.

I provide you a link. Can you provide a link that states it's completely Linehan's offense? I'm waiting.
As ususal, you are the one talking out of your ***.

I think you need to learn how to read because I clearly said there was carry over and because there was it was Garrett he made necessary adjustments to his offense in regards to running the football more and as a result the entire indentity of this team changed.

Talking out of my ***? Okay. I clearly said that I know there was some carry over and that Garrett designed this offense, but he also made the necessary additions to it like running the ball.

7 and 9, 8 and 8, 8 and 8. No one used the excuse he didn't have a QB. Garrett had Romo and was one game better in a 3 year span but for many teams, that's not good enough. But hey, I guess we play hard......

Yeah, let's try to emulate the Miami Dolphins. The best organizations are those that have organizational stability.

Amber said it was Linehans offense and I said it's JG's offense that Linehan tweaked.

Then you posted this.

So you post I'm talking out of my *** concenring my reply about JG's offense being tweaked by Linehan, and now you are telling me that's what you meant in the first place?

Sure you did.

When did I say that Garrett had no input? Show me where I said that.
