Same ol. Choke in the playoffs. Bottom feed. Bow down to teams well over .500. Fold against the run. Inability to overcome a deficit. Poor pass blocking. Zero Oline depth. Weak LB play.

Same weaknesses for over 10 years. Stop falling for the same oke doke every year.
Guess there’s no reason to watch then right?

It’s entertainment when I’m watching any show on tv and it sucks I switch the channel

Doesn't change a thing. This team has been a pretender at best over the last couple of seasons. It's not about an individual loss or win. But don't give me that "just one game" crap anymore. We haven't been able to beat the 9ers in three (two of them important) games now. And not only that, we have been humiliated that last time.

So whereever the "any given sunday" talk goes after a couple of days have gone by after this crushing defeat, in the end the Cowboys just aren't capable atm. Starting with the guy under center we have so many holes in the wall it's a miracle it's still standing. Beating up the little guys but getting our butts kicked when the big ones come along. Nothing has changed. And I have no reason to believe otherwise until they show us in the play offs that they can win a couple in a row.

Until then its just a long pre season.
Hey I'm just hoping to see some good football while we beat up the little guys at this point

One loss early in the season means more than a loss later i.e. if you lose a bad game three games in you still have 14 games now that you also have to win where if you 16-0 and you lose one bad game well you lost one game who cares. Right now our win percentage is 60% the Eagles and SF have an 83.3% win percentage. If you extrapolate that out over the season that's a 10-7 vs 14-3 team. That's a pretty big difference. I have no doubt that we will continue to beat up on bad teams and lose to good teams because that has literally been the pattern since Dak got here (outside of the division). I swear some of y'all got amnesia. Also if you watch even how the offense plays in our wins you would know they aren't up to the level of the other great teams even on some of their bad days.

Except where Jerry's concerned we have no choice there we've been stuck with him for 30 years and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel

I guess it’s all about perspective. Yes we’re stuck with Jerry but I turned that abortion off last weekend and played golf on Monday

Logged on and witnessed this ridiculous meltdown . I quit hanging my emotions on this team quite sometime ago back in the Romo days. Got a bit excited in 14 and 16 but hey it didn’t happen oh well

If they win fine if they don’t fine . Do I want SB ? sure is it critical for my enjoyment? Not even close

Any given Sunday ! The cowboys can go out and lay an egg or destroy the chargers tonight . It won’t change my perspective a bit

We’ll see how well they are playing and where they sit in December

We face a mutant QB tomorrow and they get Ekeler back.

I don’t know why Vegas has us favored honestly.
Because Vegas Knows Justin Herbert is overrated..

The Annointing Oil was delivered before Herbert even sniffs a Playoff Win

The Hypocrisy is Eye Tested

You see it on our forum all the time. Fans look at the schedule and pick wins and losses. A bad loss means a team sucks. A big win makes a team unbeatable. Until the next week. The Cowboys looked unbeatable the first two weeks. Then the cards and niners had something to say about that.

So who had the browns winning today? The jets beating the e-girls? The chiefs struggling with the hapless broncos? The giants should have won in Buffalo tonight. Jalen Hurts now has more picks (7) than he had all of last year. None of us saw that right?

I have no idea what’s going to happen to our Cowboys tomorrow night against the chargers. But I can say nothing would surprise me. Whatever any of us think we know how things will turn out this year, we don’t know.

It‘s a long season. The Cowboys are still in the thick of everything. But I won’t buy any contender hype again until I see some grit and toughness from this team for a change.
The Niner offense lost CM and Deebo in that game, but even so they missed a 43 yarder to win the game. I wouldn’t take anything from Cleveland though, after all , they are the leagues top ranked defense. They are built to throttle offenses in a conference that features Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert , Allen. Etc. This is what many of us were screaming for in the off season…… when you don’t have an elite QB, you load the defense.

It's fun to pick W/L on the schedule though however like they say on any given sunday...

I also laugh at the people who think just because one team beats another and we won or lost against that team indicates anything. Means absolutely nothing just like the dumb thread "the browns win over the niners says alot about dak and the cowboys". Every team plays what looks like hs football game once a year it seems.

Plus certain DCs just have teams numbers even though that team in particular is meh.

One of the bigger lessons from the NFL and all team sports: What happened last week does not always translate to any other week.

Aren’t Vegas odds always based on what they think bettors will do? Not what makes the most sense. Yeah, I’m shocked we’re favored.
I'm not an expert but usually that is the case except, the Cowboys were favored by 1.5 since last Monday and it hasn't changed. If I was a betting man I would give the points all day because this makes no sense whatsoever.

TEAM GAME football is the Ultimate Team game with way too many moving pieces and only takes two or three mistakes by two or three players, coaches refs, bad bounce, bad luck, weather, a black cat, lights going out to ruin a game. any given Sunday isnt made up this past weekend proves it.

It will always also be a week to week league and a year to year league no need to keep going back 28 years and blaming I don't know the Joneses every chance you can get I don't know who might do that but they use a lot of bullet Bob points...LOL

one word sums up AGS= Parity...

this is a week to week league and if that running back and debo samuel miss much time the niners will struggle even more there is not a lot of difference between these teams and the eagles are not the team they were last year yet

You could say the same thing about the 49ers loss to the Browns when you consider the Browns were missing Watson and Chubb!

The Eagles loss was also bad, since the Jets were missing both of their starting cornerbacks!
Yes this is also true.
We just got to do a better job of taking care of business during the regular season if we are serious about the playoffs.
Playoff seeding and home field advantage matter.
