Did you see the 2nd Eagles game last year and the Bucs game in the playoffs?
The Eagles were playing for nothing without Hurts, and every playoff team would have done that to that gawd awful Tampa team.

Please.

This happens EVERY year in the NFL, which is why I didn't freak out over last week's loss.

It comes down to this...

When was the last time the Cowboys went out and played a truly good game against an elite team, won, and got a great performance from their QB?

Seattle in 2014?

That's almost 10 years ago.

Enjoy the ride.

Miserable fans will always find a reason to be miserable.

Someone on here was arguing with me the other day about how they didn't enjoy Super Bowl XXX because "we could've had 4 straight but Jerry screwed things up."

If you can't enjoy a SB win or even a playoff win like the 2022 Bucs WC game, I feel sorry for you.

"But I know how this story will end!!!"

No, you don't. That's why you watch.

this is an unfair attack on people in a personal way. There is solid reason to be down on the team and pessimistic at the moment. If you want to be a pom pom waver go ahead but dont call people who are more objective that you miserable people
and here are some laugh emojis for the pom pom wavers:laugh::laugh::laugh:

I dunno, man. Until it happens otherwise, I will expect the Cowboys to make it to the playoffs only to choke in them. That is one constant I can hang my hat on.
They lose, they don't choke. You only choke when you're the favorite to win it all.

It literally wouldn't matter how many examples were presented, the parameters would adjust accordingly. Same w/ the semantics.

You see it on our forum all the time. Fans look at the schedule and pick wins and losses. A bad loss means a team sucks. A big win makes a team unbeatable. Until the next week. The Cowboys looked unbeatable the first two weeks. Then the cards and niners had something to say about that.

So who had the browns winning today? The jets beating the e-girls? The chiefs struggling with the hapless broncos? The giants should have won in Buffalo tonight. Jalen Hurts now has more picks (7) than he had all of last year. None of us saw that right?

I have no idea what’s going to happen to our Cowboys tomorrow night against the chargers. But I can say nothing would surprise me. Whatever any of us think we know how things will turn out this year, we don’t know.

It‘s a long season. The Cowboys are still in the thick of everything. But I won’t buy any contender hype again until I see some grit and toughness from this team for a change.
well said. True

I don't know who beats SF when they're at full-strength. CM & DS out made them vulnerable yesterday.

Not particularly surprised that the Jets beat the Eagles. Philly has been playing with fire all season.

KC has been overrated all year.

Tough to get a read on Buffalo. Much like Dallas, you never know what team is going to show up for the game. What will happen in the upcoming meeting of those two teams is anyone's guess.

It's only a lesson to those who haven't learned it in past seasons.

It's all about what happens in the game. Speculation doesn't matter. Opinions don't matter. Feelings don't matter when they get on the field and play the game. That's where the wins and losses are decided.

Will Cowboys fans ever realize that?

Not likely.

Aren't we ALWAYS "in the thick of it"...since we can beat bad teams.

Then we face playoff caliber GOOD teams and suddenly to in the thick of it.

A few good or bad games during regular season isn't a big deal to me. Play tough in the playoffs. Beat some good teams there.

Only lesson I learned today is how pathetic our team is. We badly lost to the 49ers— who were torn apart by the brown down Browns of all teams. Cardinals keep looking like the Top 3 draft pick team every week yet we struggled heavily against them.
You completely missed the point.

You can't play round robin with teams.
Team A beats team B
Team B beats team C
Therefore team A should beat team C
However many times team C beats team A
