I know my observation is not popular....but I am trying to find a way for the Cowboys to ride Tony for 3 or 4 more years. At this advanced age we get the best Romo we have ever seen. And that is because of adding the running game. Now if we can add someone that can make Romo's deceision making in the passing game easier....he could play another 4 years at a high level. I mean...whose to say Romo cannot play until his is 40 like Manning, Brady, Favre etc...I mean remember...part of the reason Manning and Brady have played at a high level well into their late 30s and early 40s is because they don't get hit much. Well with this running game and a more "consistent" #2 WR...imagine how little Romo would get hit!

The best way to ride Tony for 3 to 4 more years is get him a defense that is not only hungry but also talented. Not by spending on just any name number 2 wr or investing precious premium draft resources in the position.

I mean if Josh Gordon becomes available on a prove it deal? You have to do it.

Otherwise let's get some fat boys on defense.

He has done excellent this year and Dallas was lucky to have grabbed him. Having two Dez Bryants would obviously be preferable, but Williams is a pretty good option as a number 2 WR.

He is a good #2 and that is one big sandwich

Yes it works but there is reason why he disappears against good covering teams, the window room has to fight it into for him is so much tighter than it is for Dez.

Or it might have to do with a QB who only throws the ball, at times, 20-25 times. Murray is the bulk of this offense, you then have Bryant, Witten, and Beasley eating away at the ball, and then you have Williams.

I am really not sure why you guys are expecting Williams to have 60-80 catches a year, it's not happening.
