Like Wilson is Seattle, we started to see him get dinged up about 2 years ago. Dak may have 2-3 years of prime ball left. He will be like 31-32 then. That window is slowly closing. Not everyone is Rodgers and Brady and can play for 15 years or so. Dak I feel will go the Russ Wilson route. I think Russ is pretty much over the hill . He is 33. I think thats about as long as Dak will play. At best. Injuries will factor in.

Respect is a pretty subjective thing. The Cowboys are about to go 13-4 and get zero respect. The bucs and packers are 8-8 right now and everyone is fawning over how great they look.......lol. HILARIOUS.

What a great opportunity the Cowboys have this year in the playoffs. When you look at the current NFL landscape, honestly there are no juggernauts. There are no consistently dominant teams.

Looking at the playoff teams in the NFC, it’s hard to pinpoint any one team as having the most momentum. All teams have strengths but their weaknesses are there too.

Looking at the current top 4 NFC teams going into the playoffs, none of them scare me- They all have strengths of course but their weaknesses are there too.

• Philly- their once strong running game has become average. And who knows how bad Hurts’ shoulder is. Their defense has suffered big injuries too. They are limping into the tournament.
• SF- yes they have a great D, yet somehow that D gave up 34 to Oakland’s backup QB yesterday. And, more importantly, they continue to count on a 7th round rookie QB to not fall apart. Brock Purdy’s clock is ticking for a melt down.
• Dallas- we’re as good or better than anyone in the NFC. Just have to prove it on the road.
• Minn- the worst 12-4 team in the league. Cousins is terrible when facing good teams. Their defense is completely inconsistent.
• GB- if they get in the playoffs, they could be the scariest team in the tournament. They’re hot and Rodgers has no fear.
  
• TB- Brady is the GOAT but Father Time has been gently rapping on his door this year. He’s still capable of great moments but not consistently. The TB defense is just ok.
• NYG- probably just glad to be in.

Bottom line for me- this year’s playoffs are an excellent opportunity for the Cowboys to win some playoff games. But more than likely they must become tough road warriors. It’s all there for the taking.

People forget that Playboy Jimmy G, and Deebo are due back for SF.

Oakland has offensive weapons that will expose any defense in Jacobs (when he runs he looks like Emmitt), Waller, Adams, and slot man Renfro. Also, the game still has that Bay Area CA rivalry.

49ers have defense, and running game so they have a Championship formula. As much as Jonesboys fans hate Dak, he would be the difference maker in a Cowboys versus 49ers match up.

Gonna disagree here. Anyone can be taken out on any given Sunday but with an unknown Hurts, SF has to be the clear favorite in the NFC but those 2 teams are the tops. The rest, including us, would have to play the games of their lives to make significant noise in the playoffs.

I think in general all teams have huge question marks. What will Hurts play like when he returns? Will rookie Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy be able to lead his team through the playoffs?

Like a few seasons from the past 25 years, the offense is good enough to get the job done. If they fail it will be on the defense. This defense is god awful. The Saints held Minshew to 10 points at home yesterday. The Dallas D got torched for 34 in their own house. And the week before they gave up 40 to Jacksonville. So yes, this defense is going to end up killing this season.

If Green Bay is going to win it all, their going to have to rely on their defense. They have to go into San Fran and that's a tall task.

Ok, got it. Well the evidence of the rams earning respect is that Lombardi trophy. They haven’t done anything this year but they already earned respect.

Yup. It's a Jones relevance poison. It is a most powerful far reaching toxin. It seeps all the way down into fanbases' minds to where mediocrity over championships rules.

There are several HUGE differences between Dak and Russ.. one is Dak is about 30 pounds larger.. and two is Dak never ran as much and Russ did.. Lastly, Dak is almost 4 inches taller than Russ... meaning he is better equipped to play from the pocket when his legs finally do go which again I don't expect to happen for another 3-4 years. The OC doesn't have to trick it as much for Dak to get throwing lanes as they do for Russ. For those reasons I firmly believe Dak will have a longer career than Russ.

read my past posts on coaching, Dallas doesnt have it and yes Brady had it. Look at NE defense this year, 1st in interceptions and turnovers returned for TD's. Parcells was the best we had since Jimmy, but Jones drove him crazy.

That pick to open game game vs Philly was horrendous and on the run, pick 6 against Jax was as well into tight coverage. Rather see him in pocket and play action

You mean the one that hit his receiver in the chest? You're not seriously complaining about that throw? I don't care how tight the coverage was (it wasn't) if the ball hits the receiver in the chest I'm not going to be mad at the QB for anything that happens after. I don't really have a preference as to where Dak throws from as long as it gets completed. Like I said he's great throwing on the move.. one of the best I've ever seen.. But the beauty of his skillset is when the line starts having problems he throws just as well out of the pocket as in it.
