Nobody said that Romo sucks, he is just extremely inexperienced. He doesn't give this team the best chance to win.

He may win the games the rest of the season and prove me, NFL history and mathmatical statistics wrong. But remember, even if he does, it is such a mathmatical long shot that anyone saying it will happen would just be correct by accident.

Jake Delhomme?
Jeff Garcia?

I have one Jesus Romo fan telling me not to judge him based on his only 27 passes in the NFL and another Romo fan telling me he is the future QB because of those 27 passes.

You guys are going to fall hard.

We are not going to fall hard, your going to eat CROW hard.

How many big games do we need to lose before we should make the change? We just can't keep doing this... We cannot be tearing up these high school teams, and when we face a big game, Bledsoe goes into the tank. Bledsoe knows what to do, I don't understand when he's going to start doing it.

How long has Parcells been harping on Bledsoe to get rid of the ball and not take a sack? The man has been not only given 14 years to prove he can get it done, but the last year or so. He's done, give him a voucher to disneyland, and then a plane ticket to BFE.

I have bad news for you. Romo is the one that blew the big game last monday night. That is what inexperienced QBs do. I wasn't surprised at all once the reporter made the decision to go with Romo.

How in the hell did Romo blow the game when we were losing in the first place?

I don't recall saying one word to Hostile, but since Hostile came at me, then let me just defend myself.

I'm talking about guys shooting down Romo as if he's been playing for 4 years instead of warming up the bench. The guy blew the game, okay. How many games have Bledsoe won for us? How many super bowls have Bledsoe won? If my 12 year old left the car door unlocked and my car was stolen, you can forgive him. But if I did it, you know.

I think we all just need to rally around our QB and let's get on with it. If he has absolutely nothing, then let's throw him off the bus and find someone else.
No, no, no, no, no.

You said the following...

Seems like the board doesn't want Romo in, I guess we should put old Bledsoe back in there and let's throw away another couple of seasons.

The entire forum is against this was the stance you just took that I called you on.

Here's my proof that this was a ridiculous stance.

Translation, the board is solidly behind Romo as the QB.

Who's fault is it that we lost the other 2 games? Who's fault is it that we had a TD sitting right in our lap, and Bledsoe threw an INT straight to the CB, and thank God the guys momentum carried him out of bounds, or it would've been 19 to 7 before half time. Now I can see Romo doing stupid stuff, but there is no excuse for Bledsoe.

What makes you or anyone think that Bledsoe was going to lead us to victory? Did you think that perhaps NY was going to let up on the blitz so that Bledsoe could pull out the victory? Wake up people, Bledsoe is finished in this league. Hopefully their's an opening in the fox booth, he'd make a heck of a TV guy.

Funny because a lot of the Bledsoe fans do not know what Bledsoe is all about and they have 14 years of game tape on the guy. Keeping fingers crossed that the "next" game will be the one where Bledsoe puts it all together.

It was funny because I have been screaming for Romo since the beggining of the year, not because I know he is good or not but because I know what Bledsoe is.

I was told the coach knows best, and to quit screaming because when Romo needs to be in there that Coach Parcells will know to do that. Well now that Romo is in, the tune has changed a bit.

Why don't you open that link, look at the poll and see how I voted?

I believe you, I just want to know if you are completely behind Romo.. Because you are one of the guys on the board that is always a glass half full type of guy, and that's why I didn't understand your stance on blasting Romo for the loss.

Personally, I blame Parcells for starting Romo at that point in the game, Romo had no chance on a big stage like that, no 1st team reps, a mean nasty defense with a relentless pass rush, Romo had no chance.

But since we are going to throw around blame, I'll start with the Defense. I thought we were like #1 in rushing defense and NY ran, walked, rolled all over our D.

I can't take any more huge games.

6 games in - six huge games. I need a weekend off. This weekend is just drunk football enjoyment time. Let the chips fall where they may.

I loves me some Romo.

Three stupid turnovers (ina single half) isn't understandable?

Thank you! Finally someone is thinking. Romo is very much an upgrade over Bledsoe. The Boys will run the ball and run it some more. I think the game plan will be to keep it simple and not turn the ball over.

Upgrade as far as mobility goes, and will be able to use some offensive plays that we couldn't with Bledsoe

The Panthers dont score alot of points and I think Dallas will be able to move the ball. I honestly dont think their defense is better than NY and Romo moved the ball without the running game.

You can plan on this. We are starting a ROOKIE qb and the Panthers will be bringing alot of pressure trying to force Romo into making mistakes.

People have called me crazy but I think its a blow out by 14 points. If we can contain smith then we will be great. The Panthers have the worst 3rd down percentage in the league. They are horrible.

You are crazy :p:

We were losing by 5, we end up losing by 14.

If he were a pitcher, he wouldn't get the L, but that's some shady solace - as he didn't lose it, but he squashed any chance his team had.

I'm an optimist? That's a new one on me. I usually get bagged on as a pessimist who rains on parades.

I don't agree that Romo had no chance. If he had no chance then he doesn't belong in the NFL, and I think he belongs. Suppose Bledsoe had been injured? By your logic it means Romo would have come in and stunk up the joint because he didn't get 1st team reps. I don't buy that. That isn't the real world.

No, I'm a realist. I haven't pinned the losses on the QBs, or any other aspect of the team. I've laid it at the feet of the entire team. 53 guys.

I don't feel the need to gush about a player just because I like him better than the last guy. I'm also not ripping on him. Want more proof?

Listen to my segment at the end of dcfanatic's radio show. Sound to you like I'm "blasting Romo for the loss?" No one else?

I'm simply saying what is exactly the truth, he didn't play very well. That is a fact. He confessed this post game in interviews, his Head Coach said the same thing. So don't hold me a standard you don't hold them to as far as honesty.

Pardon the optimism, but I expect Tony to play much more effectively than a 'rookie' qb.

He's said himself his four years of learning the offense put him at a greater advantage than if he had had to play in year one or two.

He hasn't got much beyond preseason game experience, but in familiarity with personnel, scheme, and the playbook, not to mention understanding of defenses he's seen live from the sidelines and on tape since 03, I expect something more savvy than typical rookie play.
