Beer flavored moxie. With Moxie-Wings.
Whatever makes you burp...and have heartburn. :p:

We're going to win -- Bat-Gut feeling. ;)

I'm so tired of the depression amongst the 'boys fans -- there are 10 games left for crissakes! Let's see how it plays out over these next 3 games. If we are 5-4 or better, we'll make a run.

We lose to the Colts, putting us at 6-4.

Oh jeezzz!

How many TIMES do I have to repeat this?

WE ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE TO THE COLTS AT HOME!

:bang2:

I guarantee it! The Cowboys will not lose that game! I just know it!

ONCE AGAIN! THE COWBOYS WILL NOT LOSE THAT GAME!

GET IT!

We haven't been able to beat any but the worst of NFL teams.

The question is - why aren't you depressed? Too much sex?

Are you going to the game or something, or do you just hate Payton Manning?

Neither...I just cannot stand everyone and their brothers and sisters gushing over how good the Colts are, how great they are, how blah, blah, blah!

Everyone is scared of the big bad Colts! Not me...! Not at home....

And, to prove to you that the Cowboys will win that game?

Save this post...sticky it if you want too...

If the Cowboys lose, I will ban myself for 45 days from this forum! (as if anyone cares)...

The Cowboys will not lose that game...just wait and see...

I appreciate the optimism of the Romo fans and I certainly hope that he succeeds, but I am curious as to the source of this optimism. What have you seen in the preseason and the one-half against the Giants, (where he wasn't that good) that gives fuel for this optimism?

Surely, it can’t just be because he is more mobile than Bledsoe. While I think he has some potential, we just haven’t seen enough of him to warrant the rampart love being shown for him on this board. I fully support the idea of being behind him and hoping that he succeeds, but it is awfully early to be making your super bowl travel plans.

Whoa whoa whoa man, calm down there.

I thought we'd lose this game because:

1. we came off a 3-game road streak, and if we won all 3, we'd be a little too cocky and arrogant.
2. The colts are a good team, maybe not the best team, but they're still good, and they can beat us.

It's not so much that they're the best team, it's just that, it'll be a problem with this team, I think, more than it is how great they'll be.

Don't ban yourself if Dallas loses.

and reflect

Now somewhere in the black mountain hills of Dakota
There lived a young boy named Rocky Raccoon
And one day his woman ran off with another guy
Hit young Rocky in the eye Rocky didn't like that
He said I'm gonna get that boy
So one day he walked into town
Booked himself a room in the local saloon.

Rocky Raccoon checked into his room
Only to find Gideon's bible
Rocky had come equipped with a gun
To shoot off the legs of his rival
His rival it seems had broken his dreams
By stealing the girl of his fancy.
Her name was Magil and she called herself Lil
But everyone knew her as Nancy.
Now she and her man who called himself Dan
Were in the next room at the hoe down
Rocky burst in and grinning a grin
He said Danny boy this is a showdown
But Daniel was hot-he drew fast and shot
And Rocky collapsed in the corner.

Now the doctor came in stinking of gin
And proceeded to lie on the table
He said Rocky you met your match
And Rocky said, Doc it's only a scratch
And I'll be better I'll be better doc as soon as I am able.

Now Rocky Raccoon he fell back in his room
Only to find Gideon's bible
Gideon checked out and he left it no doubt
To help with good Rocky's revival.

Show me the money, Romo...

 I can tell you guys never had to drink that rotgut.

It's been made here in NE for over a century and was originally marketed as some sort of tonic for nerves and was also considered the viagra of its day.

I kid you not..make what you will of it.

Now it's strictly sold as an alternative to the sweeter Pepsi and Coke, but for years it was thought to have medicinal value.

There is also some sort of legend about a Lieutenant Moxie who braved the jungles of the Amazon and discovered the secret ingredient.

It's vile tasting stuff, vile. But the notion still lingers that it gives you 'spunk'. You'd have to be something special just to swallow this swill. :)

I intend to check out the etymology later, but the word could have actually been coined from the product, and the attributes of spunk and guts attached to it. Not named for an actual word in the lexicon.
