He’s overrated.Interesting thing is the NFL top WR Cooper Kupp ran a 4.62 40. Playing WR is more than just speed

Cooper Kupp is a 4.6 guy. Looked plenty fast to me on the 75 yd TD.
He’s overrated.
He's really notHe’s overrated.
No you wouldn't.. most of them struggle mightily trying to carry pads..
you’re absolutely right.Probably so. But the replies that take "Cowboys don't play enough fast receivers" to mean "I think anybody fast is an excellent receiver" are also guilty of some black-and-white thinking.
T williams, m Gallup, c lamb. All 4.51s. Or 4.52. Cooper was a 4.4. But they didn’t send him deep a lot. Tolbert runs4.49 he’s in the bench. Simi runs 4.4 he so on the bench. Turpin looks 4.3 ish. He doesn’t see the field in offense
Everyone can't be a burner like your man Elliott. Lmao.
I don’t think you are wrong.
our WRs are so slow compared to the rest of the league. No breakaway speed whatsoever
Gotta have a QB that can get them the football....and Dak can barely throw 45 yards. He's damaged goods...can't throw off that bum ankle. The book is out on him.
true, and they rarely run at full speed. Also I dont think those times are in football gear.I think people put way too much stock into 40 times. Think about it like this - stand in one spot and call it 4.5, 4.51, or 4.52. Now step forward about 12 inches and call that 4.3. Is there really that much of a gap between the two? Step forward another 2 or 3 inches and call it 4.2 - has the distance increased much?
If we were comparing 4.4 speeds to something like 6.0, only then would there be a noticeable distance. But 4.3 compared to 4.5? The 4.5 guy can still reach out and put his hand on the shoulder of the 4.3 guy within the 1st 50 yards.
yeah but he has pop in those balls ! and he says he see clearer now, and going to another level!Hell he can barely throw it short except when it's to shultz, every pass other than that is behind the wide out

but if a 4.3 breaks into the open he is hard to catch.
There is something to putting turpin out wide and run a go route, and throw to him, just to get them wary of him, and if he
did get a couple steps and the qb hits him in stride, then he is a big threat.
Better than not doing anything with him or throwing the same ol passes to lamb and gallup.

I liked them both. The days of Rocket and Galloway were pretty horrible. Great speed though
