As a result, we have seen and will continue to see a full court sales press by Jerry and Stephen. It’s one reason why JJ sat down for a long interview with Stephen A Smith. It’s why Stephen Jones is already carnival barking on his weekly radio show. He says the same things every year, he’s just using all the sales talking points earlier than usual. Expect the sales pitch to reach fever pitch early this season. I actually think JJ and SJ know the fans are fed up with them and that their credibility is on thinner ice than ever before.

Some will call this “pessimistic” or a downer, or “whining” but it’s just the reality of being a Cowboys fan right now. All this can change very quickly if the Cowboys have great season that includes winning at least a couple of playoff games. As a 60 year Cowboys fan, that’s what I deeply want.

Winning, especially in the playoffs, cures all ills. So advice to JJ and SJ: The only sales pitch that will work now is playoff wins (plural)

This right here is the biggest reason I see for Big Mike on his final year and Dak flapping in the wind as of now on his final year.

The 2 biggest marketing tools he has at his disposal for selling a new piece of art. HC & QB. Pull the plug and here we go. Factor in the lack of any huge roster moves and prioritizing CeeDee and opportunity for even more fresh new art for the wall.

The Chiefs were within an eyelash of not having a championship roster. You might have noticed that they were struggling during parts of the season. It happens, like when they lost to the Bucs when they ran out of offensive tackles.

Talk is cheap. I’m tired of the Jones and their snake oil sales.

I’m not going to believe any of the BS they’re selling. All that matters are the results, until they actually show they can make a playoff run. I’m not going to expect it to happen.

Horsecrap. I give them credit for what they do right. That doesn't mean they have a clue about the big picture as every single free agency season shows and now even waiting to sign their stars until it becomes a drama show which they just love because it's publicity even if it creates issues. The fans like you who take it for decades and still make excuses for them over and over are the problem. They laugh at you all the way to the bank. You are the type of fan that embarrasses the fan base by proclaiming how great we are every year and how great our ownership is. This is the year!!! Again...

You are so off based about me. You are the type that embarrasses the true fans.
I do not take it year after year, nor do I buy any merchandise. There is nothing I need or want.
So they are not laughing at me all the way to the bank.

You support them as other fans by watching and posting.

I do not make excuses. I am critical when need be. I do not need to whine and cry about every. I do not find or create something negative of some positive news.

I honestly don't think the Jerry micromanagement style will ever produce a team capable of a deep playoff run. Almost thirty years of evidence coupled with Jerry doubling down with “all in” nonsense while our nfc east rival outspends Jerry by $100 million tells me all I need to know.

I admire your optimism.

I get it. I’ve been a skeptic for over ten years. Like you said, talk is cheap. Show me. How hard is it to reach the conf championship game in the salary cap era with almost 30 years to do it? Too hard for this org as long as a Jones owns the team.
