Well, he replaced another notorious Drew-Humping Moron, so we'll never know if that's the case.

But I agree.

The second I see that guy in a QB thread, my entire outlook on it changes. I'll be MORE inclined to find reasons why Bledsoe sucks, than to defend him.

And so children, we learn the true purpose of trolls.

Seriously...why am I labeled a troll? Because I'm a cowboys fan that is excited we finally have an MVP calibur QB leading this team again? Because I speak my mind and don't give the company line? Because I challenge other users to think outside the box and provoke insightful debates? Because my favorite player on this team right now is bledsoe? Because I like to have fun and banter with the bledSTUD type of stuff?

I iwll never understand some of you people....it's almost like you want Dave Campo here so we can go 5-11 the rest of this decade. Or yes let's play Drew Henson so we can see if he's the answer(when most intelligent fans already know he's not and never will be). Better yet lets hold on the past a little longer and whine and cry for the triplets to return.

You may think that all I care about is Bledsoe...but the sun don't rise and set with the man....he's a great professional athlete and I'm estatic he's here so we can hopefully win a record 6th world title before the steelers do!

Not sure, why don't you tell us ? Your the only person I know that is trying to convince the world that Bledsoe is...

The 2nd best QB playing in the NFL right now, with Tom Brady being the best.

anybody that doesn't see what Bledsoe has accomplished so far in his career with little to no talent is just a blatant hater and not even an unbiased football fan.

Dude, most think Bledsoe is good, just not godlike. If we don't think he's godlike you call us
blatant hater and not even an unbiased football fan.
...

So, as you can see...You are the agenda man...Chill out on you attitude and I'm sure we'll all just get along better :)

I don't have an agenda, I just hate being labeled a troll or nors jr. because I like bledsoe a lot.

Despite what some people may think I really don't sleep with a lifesize Bledsoe blow up doll in my bed. I have his jersey, a bobblehead, trading cards and a few other collectible type of stuff....but that's as far as it goes.

I do plan on going to canton when he's inducted so I can meet bigneil, nors and 1000's of other drewpies in person someday.:p:

Brilliant article, really.

An Internet "troll" is a person who delights in sowing discord on the Internet. He (and it is usually he) tries to start arguments and upset people.

Trolls see Internet communications services as convenient venues for their bizarre game. For some reason, they don't "get" that they are hurting real people. To them, other Internet users are not quite human but are a kind of digital abstraction. As a result, they feel no sorrow whatsoever for the pain they inflict. Indeed, the greater the suffering they cause, the greater their 'achievement' (as they see it). At the moment, the relative anonymity of the net allows trolls to flourish.

Trolls are utterly impervious to criticism (constructive or otherwise). You cannot negotiate with them; you cannot cause them to feel shame or compassion; you cannot reason with them. They cannot be made to feel remorse. For some reason, trolls do not feel they are bound by the rules of courtesy or social responsibility.

Perhaps this sounds inconceivable. You may think, "Surely there is something I can write that will change them." But a true troll can not be changed by mere words.

You know your Bledsoe-love annoys people, yet you continually shove it down our throat, no matter how much criticism, constructive or otherwise, you receive. You continually assert that you are smarter, or more "astute" than the rest of us, further inciting people. And you won't change, no matter the response. Your posts, seemingly innocent, are inflammatory, and you love it, no doubt, much as your predecessor did. Maybe we should all just ignore you, the article has some on that, as well.

[FONT=verdana, sans serif]The only way to deal with trolls is to limit your reaction to reminding others not to respond to trolls.

When you try to reason with a troll, he wins. When you insult a troll, he wins. When you scream at a troll, he wins. The only thing that trolls can't handle is being ignored.

I have deep rooted problems and I can't help it....Nors keeps sending me stuff to post and I told him I will obey his every command and fulfill his evil schemes like the dancing puppet I am. He would post it himself but he's busy posting under 20 other aliases. :laugh2: :laugh1:

I don't understand how people today think Brett Favre is
the second coming.Yes,he has had a great career,but he's
nothing but a gunslinger the last few years. As always, you're
only as good as the cast around you.Heck.what would this board
be like if they were in the playoffs and Bledsoe just heaves the ball
down the field without even looking!Btw,and that was an interception,
much worse than any miscue i've ever seen, and yet the man gets
a pass.I only care about who leads our team, and quite honestly,i
believe we did good getting Bledsoe.

I surprised so many people have a general dislike for him. I thought he helped you guys make your WRs bigger threats although he wasnt the best at managing it.

He definitely pointed you guys in the right direction, although I doubt he will actually lead you there.

it's the neverending blithering of the bledsoe-jock-straps that sneak in here and make him the 2nd coming of christ we hate.

drew just suffers from the collateral damage these stainwads inflict.

from above article...

Next time you are on a message board and you see a post by somebody whom you think is a troll, and you feel you must reply, simply write a follow-up message entitled "[FONT=comic sans ms,sans serif]Troll Alert" and type only this:

I have not read the entire 6 pages of this thread so if I'm covering traveled territory, please accept my appoligy in advance.

You may think that Bledsoe is great or terrible or whatever but the one thing I will say is that Winicki called this season before we ever played a down. He said what would happen and it pretty much has. You can explain the season in any way you would like but to me, it is what it is. I give Mike props because what he predicted did come to pass. That can not be disputed.

You call it smoke....I call it reality.....anybody that doesn't see what Bledsoe has accomplished so far in his career with little to no talent is just a blatant hater and not even an unbiased football fan.

Like the original poster has stated, as well as all us 'drewpies' do on a daily basis.....you take a look at the 'alleged' top QB's in this game right now....particularly peyton manning. Where would he be without one of the best olines in the league, two great receivers (wayne would be the #1 guy on most teams), edge james (who's 1500+ yard season's set up mannning to begin with).....heck the guy finally got a defense and homefield and still didn't win a playoff game? But yet he's better than Bledsoe? Why because he audibles every play and thinks he's has the football iq of einstein? Because he passed for 49 TD's against some of the worst defenses combined in one season? Give me a break the guy is the biggest fraud in the NFL and the true definition of a fantasy numbers QB....

Speaking of Troy, yes he was and is an all time game, but did you ever stop to think what type of QB he might have been without the best oline in the game, a great defense, emmit smith, michael irvin, etc etc....would he be capable of airing it out one dimensionally and playing from behind every game like Bledsoe? Who knows......

The bottom line is Drew has demonstrated his greatness not only with statistics, but playing like a true MVP calibur player his entire career doing so much with so little....but unfortunately the root of all criticism has been based on the fact he's fallen short of making the playoffs in recent years despite keeping his team alive and willing them to must win victories...

Reality?

You haven't proven anything.

Some of Bledsoe's stats look good but once you factor in longevity and the era in which he played those stats, for example--yardage, are pretty pedestrian.

And then when you start really focusing on stats like completion percentage, and TD's per 100 attempts and average yardage gained per attempt his stats really start to look... in some cases... darned poor.

You continually bad mouth QB's like Manning and even Aikman to some extent but your statistics and your logic leave a great deal to be desired.

You have no solid "defense" for those that pick-on Drews weak points as a QB like his lack of mobility, average accuracy, slow reaction time and most of all his inability to transform passing yardage into points.

I'm sure you'll come back with some weak-kneed argument that contains nothing of fact-- just your perceptions, a bunch of "ifs" and a few rips on other QB's like Manning and Aikman.

Your shtick is getting relatively old.

Well... I know at least a decent number of Cowboys fans accept Bledsoe because a thread like this would have easily hit 200 replies by now in the Quincy Carter days. ;)

It's the ol' cliche but it's so true with Bledsoe. You give him time, you give him protection, he'll tear defenses up, but if it all starts collapsing, he looks unbearably average. He's about as good as you'll find in the free agent market. If ya want a franchise QB, ya gotta draft in the first round.
