He was pretty bad carrying the ball.Pollard carried the load today. Especially in the passing game.

carried it right to 2.8 per carry. In the pass game? That's because of Dalton's limitations.Pollard carried the load today. Especially in the passing game.
No, he wasn’t. He was being contained against a pretty good run defense with a bad offensive line and then made a play. It’s not like he was leaving yards on the field. This game is exactly the type of game that validates the criticisms of Zeke. Zeke just can’t do anything on his own like Pollard can. Pollard even ran for tough yards and even turned a 3 yard loss into a 1 yard gain....things Zeke would be complimented for in a game he was bottled up in.He was pretty bad carrying the ball.
You're arguing as if I was taking sides in this lame argument. I am not.No, he wasn’t. He was being contained against a pretty good run defense with a bad offensive line and then made a play. Interesting you classify his running below average. Can’t wait to see what his yards over expected pan out to be for today’s game. You're arguing as if I was taking sides in this lame argument. I am not.
Pollard did very nice in the pass game, below average in the run game.
So Pollard faced stacked boxes on 33.33% of his rushes today. He had 41 yards over expected. The bulk of that would be the 40 yard TD run where he broke a tackle and tacked on about 32 extra yards after breaking the tackle. Even before he broke the big run he still would have gained a little more yardage than expected.Interesting you classify his running below average. I'm saying that we have a need for both RBs. Again, I have no desire to argue salary amounts, extensions or draft positions. It's useless. I also don't feel it's logical to expect any player to be the same with a horrible O line as they were 4+ years ago with the best O line. There are 1,000 of these threads and the same tools repeating the same things.
I stand by my opinion. Elliott is the better RB, pass blocker and will get you yards game to game. Pollard is the better receiver, better hands, faster and they compliment each other.
I don't see any value in continuing to repeat that I wouldn't have drafted ANY RB with the 4th overall OR extended him early. But do I seriously have to post that qualifier every time someone like Caly flexes his internet muscles when someone doesn't **** on Zeke?
I was pumped when Pollard ran the 40 yarder for a TD, but he was awful before that and was averaging 2 YPC prior and you can't count on a miss-tackle every game to put them away.
Ninja.....on that theory.....SLee will ball next week, right.....since LVE hurt, again.I am guessing Zeke's calf healed a whole lot during the game.
Why, I will even venture a guess that Zeke will be ready to go next week.
Why? Because he doesn't want to lose his entitled RB position.
Nothing speeds up healing like sitting on the bench with a booboo while watching the backup perform well.
Favre got his job due to an injury and would do everything he could to not miss a game since the same thing could happen to anyone.
Lol8 carries for 22 yards? Really? This is the guy yall are insisting should replace Zeke? As I predicted the long layoff allowed Zeke to bring a little juice to the stadium tonight. Alas I think he will be hard pressed to be physically ready in 5 days to play on Sunday. F you Goodell. So instead of just one game on short rest we get two this year. F you Goodell. But I digress. Both backs ran hard tonight.. but again we see that Pollard is good for an occasional splash play but there's a lot of bone dry in between them. What we saw from Zeke was consistently grinding out positive yards.. Even a couple of nice cutbacks for over 10.. Except for the idiotic play calling on the first and goal from the 1. Three straight plays into the teeth of a 9 man box with the line getting blown into the backfield. Would it kill you to run wide or off tackle down there Kellen Moore? Good thing Cooper bailed Dalton out on the 4th down throw. Dalton almost airmailed that thing.. McCarthy needs to take film of that sequence into his offseason meeting with Jerry and say " this is why I need to call plays man.. "
Pollard did have the one nice kick return but I repeat for those of you who believe he ran 4.3 at his pro-day.. If he was really that fast that linebacker doesn't track him down once he broke free like that. A true 4.3 burner takes that thing to the house high stepping the last 30 yards.

.....then I'd ask....why ain't Lee ballin', having been cleared to play, for sometime now?Wrong. If Lee plays well while LVE is pulling splinters out of his rear end next week, LVE’s ankle will heal faster.

Maybe because there were different threads people were posting in during the game?I scrolled through this threat looking for all the posts about Pollard before he had the nice run in the 4th quarter. Whycome nobody was squawking about him when he was averaging 2 yards per carry?.
