No kidding did it cost you a bundle?

I went looking for an Alien toy I once owned and the price was ridiculous.
For some odd reason I threw it out when I was 16...

depends on what you call a bundle. $250 for a like new in the box set.

I recall one year my folks got me a Lionel Train Set, it was cool with the smoke coming out of the smoke stack. My dad put it together the night before Christmas and I think he spent more time playing with it than I did that Christmas. :laugh2:

Had a set of these when I was a kid they were called click-clacks or ka nockers. I use to bruise my wrists up all the time trying to master them. It wasn't very easy to get them to click clack up and down.

I remember Christmas 1985 my dad got me what I had been begging for. A Lion Voltron. He spent $79 for it. (expensive in 1985)

I just found one on Newegg.com (Newegg, really? hah) for $399. That is probably what $79 was worth back then in today's money.

My nephew has it now. It was at my mothers house when she passed away. I was already back in NY when they came across it. A few of the lion's are missing tails and a head are missing. The sword is gone too, but it's still there.

Me and my brother use to sit in the dark and watch these on our bedroom wall.

We then advanced to the easy show projector that had a crank handle enabling us to watch moving movies. If you didn't crank it fast enough the film would start to melt you could see it bubbling and evaporating as the movie rolled.

Twister was only fun if you were drunk and playing it with a hot chick. There were some pretty interesting positions you could get into. :)
