But a proven strong producer for another season's worth. His value doesn't diminish in wishing a roster together.

mcfadden did ok but the guy had 4lane highways to run through. when asked to get the tough yrds he couldnt. them tough yrds is what makes the offense go

looking back at the past offseason i think the Cowboys were hoping the vikings would come down on their demands for peterson.

Wait, and the offensive line just barely did good, huh? It is what it is, top shelf despite a lot of full starts...also. I guess Dez also proves that without Tony Romo, he just doesn't cut it?

You are trying to imply more than what he actually accomplished. Yet McFadden was also solid in blocking and receiving strongly as well...

I'm not saying don't bring RG3 in or not.

What I am saying is that he is as injury prone as Romo is. Maybe even more so.

McFadden was not solid in blocking. He was the reason Romo was injured the 2nd time. Just lets the guy go and just watches

He wasn't afraid to stick a helmet into a chest regularly...so, you are blaming McFadden for Tony's injury?

I don't have UTube enabled.

Dont count out Driskel and Hogan
Honestly that is how I see it playing out....at #4 overall, unless its a consensus slam dunk, you cant go QB...take the best player, Traedwell, Ramsey or Bosa....sign a RG3 and draft a QB in later round...like Driskell

yes i am. watch the video he just let thomas through and watched.

catch up with the conversation and get back to me. You from the start, discount a strong showing by any running back in the NFC. That's pretty selective in discounting a player.

He was part of a group of parts that will be considered dominant pieces for the Cowboys, and incidentally, the team just completed it's individual evaluations. We'll just see how much faith THEY place in that same McFadden.

Next, is an evaluation of scheme and directions following the Senior Bowl.

I put up enough for a case of beer that McFadden will remain the lead dog for this team in the 2016 season. One just does not predict future injuries seriously.

Typical fan boy response. Quick to insult, when somebody says something negative about your baby.

Look man, we tried to replace him with proven washed up scrubs. Maybe I need to be more specific. We need to replace Romo with anyone who has some sort of pedigree. Whether they use to be good, or have a good background coming out of college.

I know you love you some Romo, and everyone on the roster. We could even maybe sign Quincy Carter back, and you would find a way to say it's ok. Which is cool, but don't insult people who don't have the same opinion as you, or love everything the cowboys do, good or bad. Just makes you look like a huge teenage cheerleader.

-The cowboys are having a bad year, and MO sucks.

-You- "What? Are you stupid? The cowboys are great, it was the nfl's fault why we had a bad year. The whole cowboys organization must have taken a turn with your thot of a girl. Idiot"

CJLsXKo.png

Dude - honestly. No we're not great, in fact we sucked this year. There are a lot of holes to fill and ripping the team after 4-12 is deserved but the Romo stuff is ridicules. Your opinion, that's fine but you lost me and probably most people with "Find somebody with some pedigree."

You want guys with pedigree
Guys who come from big time programs
Guys who have played in and won big time games
Guys with pedigree like Aikman and Manning and Luck

So all of these guys are your boys--

Mark Sanchez
Matt Leinert
Vince Young
Jamarcus Russell
Sam Bradford
RGII
Johnney Maiziel
EJ Manual

I could go on but that would be piling on.

But it doesn't stop there because then I take Romo over Rivers and Bradford and Ryan and Smith and Tannehill and Dalton, all guys from major programs but...never mind. The point is made.

Being a fanboy of pedigree sounds like this--

"Take that piece of crap from North Dakota St. outta here and give me Brady Quinn!!"

I'm really not trying to insult you, I respect your opinion and not trying to change your mind about Tony - but the reasoning is very flawed.

You're absolutely right about some aspects of the team and organization but going from 12-4 to 4-12 because of losing Romo and calling out others because Romo is our "baby" - well yeah he is. He should've been the MVP last year and gives us the best chance to win as demonstrated this past season and finding a franchise quarterback is damn hard and never guaranteed. Ask the Bills or the Browns, or the Texans or the....on and on and on...

Lots of reasons to rip the team or coaching and I'm with you on some of it - but jumping on people because Romo is our "baby" is - childish.

Why does the long term solution at QB have to be a high draft pick? Romo wasn't a high draft pick, neither was Brady. And RG3 isn't coming in here as the starter, that's still Romo's job. RG3 will have to be coached up and learn the offense before the keys are turned over to him. That would take a couple of seasons. Until then he is a back up.

Because we know what we would have with rgIII, right now that is bust. What in the world has any one seen to say otherwise. He couldn't become starter material in Washington, what makes our team any different. He could not even be a backup in Washington.

Uh, he was injured and not the chosen starter when a new coach came into that organization.

I rather not of either one but I'd go w rg3. I'd rather draft someone to groom immediately.

Yep. It's time. Like Mick Jagger used to say: "Time waits for no one."

Yep..

love your sig pic..

he still looks like he could play.

I can remember back in the 70's running around in my backyard dodging make-believe defenders like Roger used to do and heaving the ball downfield to an imaginary Drew Pearson and throwing the winning TD.

Roger was the greatest and came along at a time when we greatly needed a QB.

One can only hope there is another like him for us.

Is this actually true or more myth? I could be mistaken but didnt' someone do an analysis of short yardage situations comparing this year with McFadden and last year with Murray and the stats weren't that far off?
