Aikman first 3 seasons completion % 59.5, 59.5, 59.4

Prescott first 3 seasons 68.3, 62.9, 67.8....

Did Troy “not have it”?

Weeden threw 70% here starting.

Mediocre QBs throw over 300 yards regularly where DBs can’t touch WRs in this era and safeties aren’t allowed legally allowed to spear WRs over the middle or leave their feet when tackling, daring them to come across the middle field, Throwing for 300 wasn’t even regular. QBs could be hit in the head and not get called for it either.

The idiocy of this post is unreal and so is the Dak delusion that they’d insult legends..

Normally i agree but not when It comes to dak prescott.sometimes he shows that he have it and sometimes he don't.the big question is if he could find a way to be consistent in the future.crazy thing is when it comes down to big moments in the game he delivers.(so far)

All this media discussion should be in our favour.we have now more chance that dak will not get a huge contract

How often would Aikman throw for 300 yard games???

How often would any of them?

Dak can’t even break 200 yards regularly in this era where mediocre scrubs get 300 regularly in this passing era

It’s comical how you are turning on Aikman when just a month ago you were telling us that this HOF is an authority, before he started openly criticizing Dak’s play..

1.... It was a different game when Troy played. MUCH harder to pass back then so naturally QB's had lesser completion percentages than they do now. This is something that all football fans SHOULD KNOW if they have been following the game at all.

2... Look at any random game and see Prescotts passing chart. Everything is either within 7 yards of the LOS or to the outside. The staff, and Dak himself ignore the middle of the field like the plague. They do this because of his poor accuracy and horrendous anticipation skills. Problem is,.... any QB worth a damn makes his living between the hash marks. Like I said,.... he hamstrings our offense. We have to structure our offense in a way that avoids the biggest part of the field. Think about that a second. While other passing offenses get to use the entire field as its canvas to work on we have to use this shrunken up little small thing. This is the reason we are always trying to use these absurdly gimicky plays so much because its the only way to create any spacing on a shrunken field. I dont envy Linehan AT ALL,...he's having to go into a gunfight with a dull swiss army knife with one hand tied behind his back while standing on his tip toes. Good luck with THAT!

So staying away from throwing in the middle of the field but throwing to guarded receivers along the sidelines is an easier throw???

You make absolutely no sense!

How do you come to this conclusion? If contracts truly reflected performance qualification, they would be lower on average across the board. Contracts are neither based on such criteria nor on 'whether a quarterback has accuracy or not'.

To be honest, if Dak could improve his decisiveness and his pocket negotiation, he could take this team far, even if his accuracy stayed constant. I’m not an expert but those feel like things you could improve with experience more easily than accuracy.

I also think once you start thinking of Dak as inaccurate, you see mistakes by him that confirm it. But it’s worth noting that accurate quarterbacks overthrow open receivers all the time. Kinda like if Romo would make a late mistake in a game it would seem to confirm his “choke artist” reputation, even in the part of his career in which he was objectively one of the most clutch leaders in the league.

The irony of you using Weeden as an example and then talking about idiocy.

It’s clearky not as idiotic as trying to compare Dak to an all-time Cowboy great, who ran a timing-based offense and was known as one of the most accurate passers ever, while Dak homers like you constantly make excuses that our WRs don’t ‘get open’..

Tryinb to use Dak’s completion percentage in a conservative offense in this passing era while comparing it to Aikman when evdn guys like Weeden easily get over 70% is the biggest joke..

Because Aikman is wrong with this latest remark, that's why.

Seriously dude?

The game has changed but now you have larger faster guys on the field. How are you going to deal with that factoid?

Get a grip.

Don't confuse this group with statistics. They will tell you that Dak dinks and dunks.

What does completion percentage have to do with dinks and dunks? And your talking about being confused with statistics?

Where was his accuracy his first 3 or last 3 years?

What does that Superbowl MVP-winning QB Aikman know about the position anyway? And ditto for that know-nothing Bradshaw, too. The way he talks you'd think he'd had some kinda success playing QB!

Who do these guys think they are anyway?
Apparently, they're haters. They must be jealous of Dak's success.

Are you really this absurd?

WRs were bigger back then, because they had to battle CBs. There weren’t any successful short WRs in the mold of Edelman.

Running QBs like Cunningham run circles around Dak’s athleticism while he could launch the ball 70 yards downfield and even he couldn’t play consistently as an upper echelon QB.

Nowadays the turfs and equipment are much more advanced, which favor offensive players and their speed, along with the rules. OL are generally smaller nowadays.

What you are claiming is absolutely nonsensical.
