Seems like this board has more Dak haters then supporters. Take away the hate for a second, last year's personnel was one of the worse he has ever had:

-Gallup clearly wasn't the same player after his injury and probably shouldn't have had a big role. Tolbert gave the team nothing in his 1st season as a 3rd rd pick. Noah Brown, who has always been more of a special teamer was our #2 WR by default. A passing offense of Lamb, Brown and Shultz isn't going to be successful against any legitimate defense.

-Zeke clearly has held this team back as he isn't the same player at all. Many will say that he has hurt the team more then he has helped it not just last season but a few prior.

-Team lost Tyron for basically the regular season and had to play a green rookie at Tackle who practiced only as a Guard throughout camp. Team had to sign a 40 year Tackle for insurance. Lost their other Tackle Steele late in the season, who was the team's best run blocker. Once he went down, our run game disappeared.

-Dak was basically forced into many 3rd and longs facing teams who put extra men in coverage. Take out Lamb and let Brown or Shultz beat them. That isn't a winning formula. Yes, Dak had a career year in interceptions, where he had to force many passes into tight windows.

This year, team added a legitimate #2 WR in Cooks who has the blow off the top speed. He should open up the offense for others. Tolbert appears to have made the next step in his development, Gallup looks better, players like Vaughn/Turpin will add more juice to the offense that was lacking any playmakers outside of Lamb/Pollard.

Dak hater or not, this is the year we can get an actual true litmus test on Dak as the QB.
Dak wins when they run the ball effectively and the defense limits the run.

They were dead in the water once Pollard was injured. CeeDee and Pollard were the only dynamic players on offense to start that game.

It was almost like the first 2 games of 1983 when Emmitt held out. One of the all-time great teams was lackluster without Emmitt. Not putting Pollard in that category, just pointing out that even Aikman-Irvin, great defense and Jimmy couldn't overcome not having a legit run threat.

All Dak has to do to drive the Haters undercover is play well.
Really is that simple.

Especially against probably the best defense in the entire league. Playing them one dimensional was a recipe for disaster.

Nothing to prove? He has yet to reach an NFCCG appearance and ZERO Super Bowl appearances....I would think he has a lot to prove, especially demanding top QB pay.
There’s 53 men on an NFL roster. You don’t seem to know that about NFL football. I suggest Football 101 for Dummies and Housewife’s. It’s on Amazon.

I've never seen a QB get so many chances. Let's accept Dak for who he really is. Just another Kirk Cousins.

It's hard to get to a Super Bowl let alone win it, Brady/Mahomes are the outliers. The likes of Rodgers/Brees had hall of fame careers but only won 1 ring and made it that one time. There are several others greats never to play in that game.

He better pray that his Oline stays as healthy as possible. The preseason showed there isn't any depth there. You're already without Ball, and now T. Smith is questionable for game 1. We've got some great wideouts, but I don't think he can hit them from flat on his back.

Joe Burrow...the QB who has been in the league for 3 seasons now and has a 5-2 playoff record with back-to-back AFCCG appearances and 1 Super Bowl appearance....

...that is 3 more playoff wins, 2 more Championship game appearances, and 1 Super Bowl appearance than Dak has had in 7 seasons...

You comparing Dak to Burrow is a joke.
Wake me up when Joe Burrow scores a TD in the 4th Qtr of ANY play-off game.. :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

Every year it’s the same Dak had crap player’s the year before this is the true year to judge him. Dak could choke again and again and it doesn’t matter Jerry is extending him because Jerry is in a corner that Dak and his agent painted him in dollar wise with dead money and a no trade clause, Dak could be the worst QB in the league and he will still get he extension. Don’t know why slobberers think Dak is changing from Mr. Choke or Others think Dakchoka is going anywhere, The Cowboys are stuck with Dak and when it’s year 34 the Homers will still be saying this is Dakchoka year to shine.

It’s not one of those lessons he’s gonna have to learn without his whole left side of his office of line I mean Tyler and Tyron both have lower leg injuries and they might be missing Donovan Wilson ughh

I mean can we not go on the road game one and be missing key players you know they will blame Prescott no matter how bad the line looks don’t say he should’ve been able to overcome it he makes too much money

Well done. Totally agree with you. I do, however, believe that if Dak screws the pooch this season (which i really do not believe he will), the front office will start looking at other options. I don't think Trey Lance is a viable option at this point.
