As the season goes on both will get timeHow about both?
We rarely play rookies that much
As the season goes on both will get timeHow about both?
If they gave Deuce more volume he would produce RIGHT NOW.Two different players..limited role for both. Turpin has more experience and Duece is barely getting his feet wet. It'll take him some time, but I think he will eventually pass up Turpin.
It’s one game in bad weather. I suspect as time goes on both will get snapsThey're the exact same player on offense.
Coaching staff has clearly chosen Turpin.
They didn't use Deuce until the game was over. There aren't enough touches in this offense to use both. They are using both.
You can't give both of them touches. They're the same player. It’s one game in bad weather. I suspect as time goes on both will get snaps
We've only seen one game so I'm projecting here but play along. It seemed the role we envisioned for Deuce Vaughn was given to Kavontae Turpin in the opener. He was the guy in the gadget role behind Pollard and the JAG that is Rico Dowdle.
There doesn't seem to be enough snaps to go around for the four of them so my question is this.
Would you rather keep it as it was on Sunday night since recency bias has Turpin finding the end zone in the opener and he's now probably an uber weapon around here or do you want that role to go to Vaughn?
Again, they can't possibly feed four. Deuce was the odd man out in the opener until the game was well over. Someone will be the odd man out on Sunday and going forward. So pick one.
I'm team Wonka worker myself.
Please keepn in mind and understand that frame and body weight can be significant factors in NFL collisions. Players with larger frames and more body weight can often absorb hits better and deliver more forceful tackles. One big hit on anybody could be catastrophic.
They sent him in in the 1st quarter. If the Giants didn't call timeout, a good chance that he gets a touchdown there. They didn't use Deuce until the game was over. There aren't enough touches in this offense to use both.
Deuce did nothing because they knew we were running. C'mon.Duece did nothing last week that gave me any confidence. I would roll with Turpin for now until Duece figures it out.
Any back would have been stopped in his tracks on those plays.Turpin has more juice.
Deuce was stopped in his tracks against better players.
With the 2nd team line trying to block.Deuce did nothing because they knew we were running. C'mon.
And Pops will not be happyIf Vaughn doesn’t make some plays with the opportunities he gets he may not be back next season. He had 6 carries in mop up duty last Sunday night and didn’t do anything with them.
I like Turpin, but I see Deuce being much more useful. From what I've seen, he has more power and lateral agility. Turpin may have more top end speed, but Deuce is pretty fast too. We've only seen one game so I'm projecting here but play along. It seemed the role we envisioned for Deuce Vaughn was given to Kavontae Turpin in the opener. He was the guy in the gadget role behind Pollard and the JAG that is Rico Dowdle.

You don’t have to YELLIf they gave Deuce more volume he would produce RIGHT NOW.
Here it is guys. Would any back do anything with those carries? Go back and study the plays. If Vaughn doesn’t make some plays with the opportunities he gets he may not be back next season. He had 6 carries in mop up duty last Sunday night and didn’t do anything with them.
