Wade Wilson "Impressed" by Johnny Manziel's Pro Day

I do tend to think that Manziel has that leadership "it" factor....if he can keep his life together.
Kitna had it too, for that matter...except he was a non risk off the field.

That's actually a good pretty comparison as far demeanor--I wouldn't have thought of him.

I think if he somehow falls to #16 it'll be interesting. Otherwise I just don't see it happening.

After that pro day, in pads, he's gone in the top 5.

its the excitement after a good pro day...enthusiasm will settle down and people will go back to their doubts and film...the film doesn't lie....

with that said, its between him and brotles, neither of which is going top 10 IMO....but some team may trade down and pick them 10-20.

I think bridgewater may drop to top of the 2nd...

Official NFL scouting combine height for JF was 5'11 3/4" 207 lbs. I suppose that could reasonably rounded off to 6'.

thanks..i remember them listing him at 6' 1" on gamedays.

I think you need a fairly recent person to compare him too. To say, QBs who party, are in the HOF is really not a comparable. When did the play, the 80, 90? Pre salary cap, post? Different time periods.

(Sonny) Jurgensen himself admitted to a fondness for carousing when he said, "After I left Philadelphia, all the bartenders wore black arm bands."

"Filled with guys who liked to party" might be a little strong, but there are definitely a number of quarterbacks in the HOF who liked to party. Jurgensen, Layne, Namath, Favre.

We can't really compare to modern guys, since there are none in the Hall. But here's a recent revelation regarding Tom Brady, that paragon of quarterbacking virtue, and his fling with Tara Reid, in a Super Bowl year, no less.

I heard on TV that after his great pro day yesterday that the Texans had him come to Houston today to meet with team officials.
