Walking Dead Season 7 **merged**

Nice catch with Lucille

I am dead serious.....when the episode ended I deleted it on my DVR and I have 60% free space .....I watched the whole SEA-ARI game before I even remembered it was on

I have no reason to care about the 'group' any more......it is all over....it is all pain.....that idea of dinner in the future was real

All good :)

What does that mean?

It's his opinion and one I tend to mostly agree with. The thing about opinions is everyone is allowed to have one and they're seldom wrong, being subjective. I think what he meant was that it's done for HIM. I'm very nearly there myself. I'll give it another episode or two and if I'm not impressed I will walk away without a regret or any difficulty whatsoever.
I watched the first season of Fear the Walking Dead and it was just OK

I came back for Season 2 just to see the boat idea and even that was stupid so I dropped it and never looked back

On TWD it was just recently...Alexandria......the Wolves.....the Hilltoppers....the Saviors and a Zombie herd invasion mixed in with Glenn's 2 miracles, Carl getting shot in the eye and some murderous love triangles

All good :)

What does that mean?
The dinner in the future that Negan mocked with Glenn and the baby and Carol and Morgan

There was always the hope for some kind of peaceful future and hope for humanity.......all of that is gone now, forever

The group is just another group of killers that will either lead and kill or follow and get killed

That dinner is a future that will never exist in any form

Man... I'm just playing. Thanks for that though....

The show has been a drag out since season 2... with a bunch of great episodes mixed in here and there "sporadically" and in some seasons "consecutively".... IMO ;-)

Kudos!

They really should have removed some of the filler and made shorter seasons packed with more punch.

Doesn't that kind of take the fun out of it though? I would love to be able to watch all the episodes upon release like Netflix does, but shows like this are fun to discuss with others. You don't miss having discussions with others about the show?

a little bit, but not much because my GF doesn't like the show and I don't know anyone else who does except my GFs cousin who is so depressed over the last show, she wont speak to me about it. Lol, amirite?

So I'm not giving up much to gain the benefit of experiencing the entire season without being cliff hung to death (which causes me to lose interest and not enjoy a show).

On a side note, I really think the binge watch creates an entirely new type of viewer and an incredibly superior product and quite frankly, I'm spoiled rotten as a result. How can a story told in the confides of a 2 hour movie compare to a season binge watch of a show like the Game of Thrones? I dont enjoy movies as much as I used to now that a story can be much better told in a multi-episode series. RomComs and other simple stories are still enjoyable but subjects of any depth just cant be adequately covered in the time typically allotted to a movie.

I would have never been a Walking Dead fan were it not for the binge watch. I didn't get into it until after season 5, when I stumbled across the pilot, got hooked and spent the new two weeks binging on every episode available. I did the same thing with Breaking Bad, The Americans, Mr Robot and now I purposely do this with any shows I like.

Oh, ok. Yeah I got that. I thought there was more to it.

Yes... and I know it's taboo to even discuss it but they should touch on and tease "real hope"... meaning... show something where they think they figure out why/how it happened and flash back into certain former living scenarios... then wham.... wake up it's no longer.

They could delve slightly out of the "it's a show about humans and how the act/react to the apocalypse". A good/great writer can deviate slightly with a carrot and then take it away. And no I don't mean, "look, we found a new home, we are safe.... oh shoot... trouble... not safe anymore" lol

One of things I find fascinating about this show is its like the world has suddenly been plunged back to the era of the Romans and prior to that where modern day civility doesn't exist, life is ruthless and only the strong survived and ruled the day. People were subjects to whomever was in power at the time, much like Negan is currently.

It makes me wonder if Robert Kirkman was a student of history and used it as inspiration in conveying how people would act, survive and band together in a world gone to hell.

It just isn't fun for me to watch anymore......there are no good guys......Rick and his gang are killers too.... I will feel no joy if Rick kills Negan after what he has already done and what he will continue to do to them all...some things you can't come back from

I think that was their way of presenting "hope." They failed at it, but I think they prefer the constant bleak drama because they think that's all viewers will want.

That's one reason that I am a fan of Morgan. He's had that hope that the rest of the show sort of lost.

Yeah but Morgan gets you bit and killed lol

Funny how people continually talk about how bad this show is. How drawn out. How unbelievable. How whatever.

Yet here they are. Talking about it after every episode. Over. And over. And over. And over. And over...

Man, I'm sick & cant get enough and wish there were 10x the number of episodes

I wish they would do a European version where we can see how things are over there. I can see the various groups of people resorting to the past reoccupying old castles with moats, etc Europe would make a great canvas for them to shoot from
