Where did you hear that?

I'm torn on the flipping back and forth when they have multiple storylines. On one hand, I don't want to not see main characters for episodes at a time, but then again the episodes are only one hour (41ish minutes of content) and flipping back and forth a lot within episodes could be worse.

Me personally, I'm sure my level of excitement will maintain, unless the season somehow utterly disappoints.

I just know. :)

The next episode focuses on Carol & Morgan.

The one after then focuses on "Sanctuary" (Negan's home).

The challenge is we won't even see Rick & Co for another 3 episodes. Tough to maintain excitement when they only focus on the main group in two of out of the first four episodes.

Thats why I'll disappear from this thread after this week for the rest of the season while I let the season pile up in my DVR so I can get my binge on.

I watched the season premiere. I wasn't all that impressed. Aside from being basically torture porn, it lacked something. Unless the next two episodes reel me back in, I'll probably drop the series.

wow - didn't even think about that but that would have ended the "cliffhanger" and last night still would have been incredible!

Thats what I am saying! I really think this would have worked better. But then again I am not the creator of a hit TV show, so what do I know haha

Here's a thought/question... there's no way of checking but... who were the last humans to die and stay dead?

That wouldn't give the "what" but it would give a time frame.

Good question. It's interesting in that it wouldn't be anything that anyone would really even think about in all honesty. Or at least it wouldn't appear so anyway.

This is what I figured as well. Next weeks is going to be Morgan, Carol, King E and his Kingdom and then I'd almost bet the next episode is either entirely about Tara and the other kid who are out on a run and don't even know any of this has happened yet, or it will be an entirely Negan and his community episode.

Then they'll do the opposite one (Which ever one they don't come and do first out of the Negan or Tara and other kid episode) before you'll finally have the next episode with Rick and Company when Negan shows up for his first offering from Alexandria.

Now they could combine the Negan community episode with one for Tara and that would be better because it would mean only 2 episodes before they got back to the main group.

Doesn't that kind of take the fun out of it though? I would love to be able to watch all the episodes upon release like Netflix does, but shows like this are fun to discuss with others. You don't miss having discussions with others about the show?

I think at some point it may be thought of....

A funeral you went to a month or week or a day before the outbreak?

They could dedicate an episode to it.

Flashback to funeral.
Go back to burial ground?

I don't know lol It's something I would wonder about

They could do that because in the comic that is how Rick confirms that no matter how or when you died that you would comeback.

He goes back to check Shane's grave (After someone else dies and comes back without being bitten) and finds that Shane has turned.

I thought they didn't come out of the graves to reanimate?

I followed thru all the cliff hanger and horrible people the last few season but this is too much.....there is no coming back any more.....revenge won't solve anything......Rick's "I'm going to kill you" was so hollow and meaningless...... so what if he does.......they already murdered half of Negan's crew

Like you said this is just torture porn for the viewers any more...I don't care about the graphic novels, I never have.......but the series is done.......after Beth's and Glenn's deaths were teased and dragged out and then just snuffed out their is no acceptable future.....the zombies are just speed bumps and background noise.....I will watch how it all ends I guess, but the thrill is gone

You are in the "minority" of those swearing:

it's "done"...
it's "dragged out"...

"The thrill is gone"
BB King with.... his guitar "Lucille" .... nice... I love it

you couldn't walk away if you really wanted to. Lol

It's his opinion and one I tend to mostly agree with. The thing about opinions is everyone is allowed to have one and they're seldom wrong, being subjective. I think what he meant was that it's done for HIM. I'm very nearly there myself. I'll give it another episode or two and if I'm not impressed I will walk away without a regret or any difficulty whatsoever.

Man... I'm just playing. Thanks for that though....

The show has been a drag out since season 2... with a bunch of great episodes mixed in here and there "sporadically" and in some seasons "consecutively".... IMO ;-)

Kudos!

Nice catch with Lucille

I am dead serious.....when the episode ended I deleted it on my DVR and I have 60% free space .....I watched the whole SEA-ARI game before I even remembered it was on

I have no reason to care about the 'group' any more......it is all over....it is all pain.....that idea of dinner in the future was real
