Afterwards did they protest over the Apache helicopter, or the Blackhawk helicopter? How about the tomahawk missile, code name Geronimo in the killing of Bin Laden or was this just restricted to the Washington football team? lol
The goose hollering about the gander? lol

We have failed as Cowboy fans if we do not FLOOD the NFL's comment line, 1-212-450-2000, swamp their email inbox, and stack their facebook page with absolute outrage over them taking away an absolute CATCH by Dez Bryant in the playoffs, in front of millions watching the game. If Dean Blandino gets fired, we have done our job.

What if Romo and Witten never see a Super Bowl simply because an incompetent sits in the league's officiating office, Dean Blandino?

The so called Calvin Johnson rule is full of gibberish about "completing the process " without EVER defining what conditions complete that. Furthermore, in the offseason, they made the rule more vague than before, just to double down on stupidity.

I'm telling you, the ONLY NFL definition of completing the process is DOWN BY CONTACT. And Dez was DOWN BY CONTACT before the ball ever came out. Never mind the 6 football moves he made, which made it a catch well before that, and all the other stuff you've undoubtedly heard before.

I'm still white hot angry over that blatant tampering, I plead with you, make a call today!

you know it's june, right?

What this injustice has done is bought us a chip in the game.

Every official has scrutinized the replay, and JJ has pointed out the obvious to the powers that be.

They owe us one now, and they know it. If the same kind of crucial blown call happens again in our opponent's favor, this would actually look like bias; the league can't afford for that to happen.

If JJ had raised hell and berated the officials publicly as some have suggested, he and the organization would be perceived as deserving of such bad fortune.

Made-up calls are made all the time, either purposely or subconsciously.

Even refs have a conscience.

Excellent post and I'm fervently hoping you're correct. The doubt I expressed about change was mainly in reference to the rule change we'd all like to see about what constitutes a completion and what doesn't. But certainly, you would think the refs most assuredly 'owe us one' in terms of something similar happening again.

Refs on the field not at fault, GB challenged the play and the replay is viewed in New York. As for payback some feel Dallas was rewarded the week before in the game vs Det. It is over and done, it was a very questionable call that went against the Cowboys just something they deal with and move on from

The league will never admit to it's mistake so maybe the players can remind them of it every chance they get. When Dez throws up the X he could have 'It was' written on one forearm and 'a catch' on the other. And maybe TWill could have 'Dez' on the palm of one glove and 'caught it' on the other. And Jason Witten could have 'Dez caught it' written on his blue forearm sleeve.

I doubt they care anymore. No reason to dwell on the past.

Yeah, great way to curry favor with the refs in the games that are still to be decided.

Careful. Don't give the league too many ideas for creating new or revised rules concerning tattoos and uniform dress codes. :)

My position has always been the same. The refs on the field should make the call under the hood by themselves. They don't need this Blandino fool, whom has never even been a ref btw, looking at anything from 1,000 miles away!

can you post the rule here? the old and the newer more vague one??

If they keep it and did actually make it more vague, then they might want it that way for reasons unknown.
maybe Blandino had the cowboys over detroit, and GB over the cowboys, and that rule came in real handy along with the cobb catch that wasnt.
I sometimes think they have rules like they do just so outcomes can be manipulated.
Blandino does sound Italian ?

"Blandino, in an interview after the news conference with Sirius XM radio, admitted the language is "still subjective." And that's the problem."http://sports.yahoo.com/news/adding...-bryant--megatron-circus-plays-232858519.html

The worst part is, he admits it is more subjective than ever before. The rule is inconsistently applied, he makes it more inconsistent. He has never been a referee, and now he thinks he can overrule actual referees.

Talk about unqualified to be a VP. Everyone in Cowboyszone needs to either stand up for some consistency in the rule book, or quit complaining about threads in June, and just get out of the way. But I think everyone should be a part of the 5,000. It will get noticed, especially in June.

Just got off work and got online and saw your post. and it is 100% flat out right on the money. it's makes me mad as hell that this BS happen, and there has been very little outrage from a lot of cowboys fans. But it's not just the fans. it's Jerry and Stephen Jones and Garrett.and their lack of outrage over this screw job. they failed guys like Romo and Witten. i knew there would be no outrage from ESPN, Fox and the others in the national cowboy hating media. but the local has been just as bad. this is a disgrace to sports everywhere. yet people act like nothing happen.this is the real scandal in the NFL.

I could not possibly agree with your comment more. I'd love it if the fans who'd rather let it go, change their mind and decide to call the phone number in the OP. It would really make the league front office wonder what in the world is going on. It's the summer and football fans still want Blandino removed? Maybe this issue isn't going away.

it wasn't a catch by the definition of the rule. move on,,stop the whining!

Not true. it's fans like you the OP is talking about. that was a catch no matter how you look at it. it has nothing to do with any rule. it's the BS spin job the NFL and Media gave after that total BS screw job. stop it, just stop it. fans has every right to be outrage when their team has won only 2 playoffs games in going on 20 years, and get screwed like this. you have failed as a cowboys fan. you are part of the problem.

So, what would you have them do? Reward the Cowboys last years Lombardi?

No. what i would have them do is fire everyone who had anything to do with reversing that call. starting with the replay ref and Blandino. they should have been fired by now. any more questions?

How about the Lions' fans? What should they do?

Lions fans should thank god the refs did not call the facemask call on their TE. don't you ever try to compare that to the screw job the NFL put on the cowboys, and we cowboy fans. nice try.
