Not true. it's fans like you the OP is talking about. that was a catch no matter how you look at it. it has nothing to do with any rule. it's the BS spin job the NFL and Media gave after that total BS screw job. stop it, just stop it. fans has every right to be outrage when their team has won only 2 playoffs games in going on 20 years, and get screwed like this. you have failed as a cowboys fan. you are part of the problem.

go get yourself a box of tissues, and have a good cry, then you might feel better....

Lions fans should thank god the refs did not call the facemask call on their TE. don't you ever try to compare that to the screw job the NFL put on the cowboys, and we cowboy fans. nice try.

How bout you never tell me what I'm not ever supposed to do, sport. You sound unhinged. Get some help.

It was a catch. Everybody knows it was a catch. Do you consider OJ Simpson innocent because the jury said he was innocent? Of course not. -- It was the biggest injustice in Dallas Cowboys history and at least top 5 in NFL history.

It was a catch, even by the definition of the rule it was a catch. But okay review it; Now tell me there was indisputable visual evidence to warrant a change to the call made on the field......go ahead, type it out for all to read; Thats what you actually believe.

Article 3 Reviews by Referee. All Replay Reviews will be conducted by the Referee on a field-level monitor after consultation with the covering official(s), prior to review. A decision will be reversed only when the Referee has indisputable visual evidence available to him that warrants the change. http://static.nfl.com/static/conten...8_2013_Officials_Jurisdictions_and_Duties.pdf

Now I am with OP on this one. But I understand its fruitless. What we can do, is watch Pittsburgh Gene Steratore and Blandino as we move forward. There is compelling evidence, already out there, that suggest Gene makes some puzzling calls at critical points in the game that favor his beloved Steelers and curious call against other Steelers rivals; I am sure its "good for business" in Pittsburgh with regard to his toilet store.

I want him Fired.

Here's what needs to be done when you call the comment line, or email the office of commissioner. officeofcommissioner@nfl.com, or officeofthecommissioner@nfl.com, I can't remember which. Email both.

1. Avoid profanity. It will force you to be very specific about the legitimate points that are to be made.
2. Mention that Dean Blandino has never been a referee.
3. Mention that he was a former comedian, and is completely unqualified to hold a position like VP.
4. A catch in the NFL should never be a subjective matter, which it has somehow become. This isn't the NBA.
5. The integrity of the game is at stake here, if calls are unevenly applied. Subjectivity is unacceptable.
6. If for some reason, you are one of the fans that has gotten over it, still make the call or email. We need all kinds, the calm and rational, and the ones like me who are more adamant.
7. Get every fan you know to engage on this, unless you are prepared to see this happen again, in the playoffs, because it will.
8. Find dirt on Blandino if you can. If this man is still employed by the NFL when the season starts, we have failed. He does not deserve to work for the NFL.
9. Find a time each day, (driving to work, lunch break, whatever, that you can more often than not, make the call 1-212-450-2000) One minute is enough. Repetitiveness will make a difference.

If you think there are going to be any changes made over something that fans of the other 31 teams either don't care about (or actually approve of) the you're living in fantasyland.

The past few months (and years for that matter) have proven that even when an injustice takes place that negatively impacts some team, no one besides that team's fans gives a crap.

You seem to gain some enjoyment from tilting at windmills, so more power to ya. I'm just trying to inject a dose of reality.

We have failed as Cowboy fans if we do not FLOOD the NFL's comment line, 1-212-450-2000, swamp their email inbox, and stack their facebook page with absolute outrage over them taking away an absolute CATCH by Dez Bryant in the playoffs, in front of millions watching the game. If Dean Blandino gets fired, we have done our job.

What if Romo and Witten never see a Super Bowl simply because an incompetent sits in the league's officiating office, Dean Blandino?

The so called Calvin Johnson rule is full of gibberish about "completing the process " without EVER defining what conditions complete that. Furthermore, in the offseason, they made the rule more vague than before, just to double down on stupidity.

I'm telling you, the ONLY NFL definition of completing the process is DOWN BY CONTACT. And Dez was DOWN BY CONTACT before the ball ever came out. Never mind the 6 football moves he made, which made it a catch well before that, and all the other stuff you've undoubtedly heard before.

I'm still white hot angry over that blatant tampering, I plead with you, make a call today!

Seriously you guys need to move on its done with.

so you can't remember an e-mail address or bother to look it up to voice your alleged extreme anger, but you can memorize a list of 9 things to do once you happen to remember 1 e-mail address.

blind rage was never so well defined.

It was given to me over the phone, I didn't write it down. It was over a month ago, so that explains why I can't remember it exactly. But it sounds like, you'll be one of the mockers of this whole thing, so save your breath, or join in with some calls to the league.

No, not at all, it continues to be a terribly worded rule. It's not over. It could happen again. Dean Blandino is still the VP of officiating.

It's not done with, it's just beginning, really.

No, it negatively affects every team, it ruins the integrity of the game, when a clear catch is overruled based on gibberish.

Nathan, you're asking for fellow members to support this cause but you're not certain of the email address you're asking others to use for that cause?

I called. Apparently it let's you "dial" a name into the switchboard and it will find the person for you. It couldn't find Roger Goodell. Shame...

They have a comment line that they transfer people to during normal business hours. Thanks for trying! Try again tomorrow if you can.

Oh. I will. I enjoy the anarchistic symbolism of such actions. Especially when it has a beneficial outcome in mind...
Oh goodness- for some reason that reminded me that Election Time is gearing up... Bad news for us political junkies. My poor girl is going to have to get used to me having 3 hours sleep (at best) every 48 hours for over 12 straight months.
I'm going to look like hell by the November after next...

I found a returned message in my spam folder. The correct email address is officeofcommissioner@nfl.com

I'm certain of it. Thanks for clarifying.

I'm curious of what you think a major influx of Cowboy fans voicing their concerns on this subject NOW will do for anybody.
Do you honestly believe it will be the cause for change? That the NFL will cave because Cowboys fans tell them what happened was a travesty?
And then what? What will they do? Give them last year's SB? Give them an extra win to begin the season?

Give them a Draft pick? I'm going to call because I enjoy such things, but really: What's your best case scenario?

I'm truly curious.
