You are part of what I believe is a very sad, yet thankfully small group of posters on this site who fall into one of two categories:

1) You're not a Cowboy fan. You get your rocks off coming on this site with nothing but negativity. Your sole purpose is to create doubt in the fan base. You're looking to rain on the parade. You see a glimer of hope, some positve thinking and you jump to piss on it.

2) You are one joyless cat. Your life sucks and are only satisfied when you are miserable. However, wallowing in your misery is not enough. You have to spread it around.

1) So I guess rooting for the team since 1977 means nothing. Okay. Thanks for setting me straight.

2) I'm joyless and wallow in misery because I have an opinion that we'll go 3-2 or 2-3 the last 5 games? Really?


I guess to be a real fan filled with joy one has to mindlessly predict a 5-0 finish to the season and Super Bowl win? Really?

With some folks like you, yes, I absolutely believe you'd rather us lose so you can thump your chest and be 'right' about Jerry and Romo and such then to ever have to concede you were wrong about any of them if they were to win.

Yeah, these last 13 years have been a real treat. You've figured it all out.

So, yeah, call me crazy but I don't exactly believe that a small handful of fans on this forum aren't secretly hoping we do bad just so they can say "I told you so."

Maybe you're not one of those guys but you seem like one to me and you've never done anything on these forums, since I've been coming here, to make me believe otherwise.

I keep hearing phrases and words from you like "omniscience", "written in stone", etc. But I'd dare you to find where I have said trends are guaranteed or written in stone.

All I've referred to is trends. Not that complicated.

A trend is a trend, don't know why you think anyone has made any guaranteed prediction in stone.

But if you want to believe that then go ahead. I know you can't ever admit you are wrong or concede anything because you have a 'reputation' to uphold with your 'internet following'.

Anyway, looking at our upcoming schedule I still see us going 3-2 or 2-3 and leaning towards 2-3. Is it set in stone? No. But until this team shows it can rise to the occasion late in the season then I'll stand by their decade long trend.

Would you care to bet a thousand dollars on that one in bold sir?

I won't admit I'm wrong or conceded anything when I am right, and I am sorry but in this case I am. Take the bet please.

It isn't my fault if you can't understand why spotting a trend matters when you have 11 games of evidence. Impress me, next off season tell me which teams are going to suck and who will shine based on 2009.

Until then, that was a bunch of useless info about spotting trends. Nothing more. It was sunny yesterday, and it is today. I sense a trend. I believe I will see blue sky all day until the sun goes down.

Same concept and it is unimpressive.

Who really enjoys being wrong? I know I don't typically enjoy being wrong. I would have enjoyed being wrong about what I thought about Bobby Carpenter and Anthony Fasano back when Dallas drafted them. I don't mind admitting when I am wrong, but that is not the same as enjoying being wrong. Looking at post on this board over several years I can see that many other posters kind of are the same. They tend to admit when they are wrong, but that doesn't mean they enjoy it. Who does?

Something tells me I'll derive much more joy from a 5-0 finish than you will.

I mean how could you? Since it would bring such joy and admoration to both Jerry Jones and Wade Phillips.

I have been high on him for a while. Thought he was going to break out last year but due to injuries and other issues he did not really get a chance.

Yup, we've definitely put ourselves in place to succeed but I want to see success where we've been seeing disappointment, and that starts in December.
