Wells Conclusion: Guilty

Why should this be any different than what Pete did?

Well let's see... Not being allowed to gamble on baseball games in which you are taking part is arguably baseball's #1 rule. The rule states "Any player, umpire, or club or league official or employee, who shall bet any sum whatsoever upon any baseball game in connection with which the bettor has a duty to perform shall be declared permanently ineligible." MLB mandates that this rule be posted in each and every single clubhouse in the majors. Sounds to me like this is a rule they take pretty seriously.

The NFL guidelines recommend a fine of $25,000 for inflating/deflating balls beyond the permitted range.

But yeah, besides that they're practically the same.

Like clockwork...

Before you say it, yes Rose was worse. But God man give it a rest. They cheated and got caught. End of story.

Is there something about facts that upset you so much?

Someone compared what Brady did to Pete Rose, who literally broke the cardinal rule in baseball. Don't get mad at me because I pointed out how stupid that comparison is.

If people keep making the same stupid statements, then yes I am going to keep replying with the same factual rebuttal.

Haha..you can't see he's talking about your Pats love? Page after page..you were going to accept the report remember?

You're gagging on that report!

I do accept the report. What makes you say I don't? (In fact, I think I am the only person in here who accepts the report because so many are trying to add things into it which simply aren't there). I accept that it is more likely than not that Tom Brady was generally aware of what was going on, and there was no wrongdoing or knowledge of wrongdoing by Bob Kraft or Bill Belichick.

That's why I am talking about what the appropriate punishment should be for Brady. NFL guidelines recommend a fine of $25,000 so that's a good starting point.

oh I don't know..maybe post after post defending your cheating team & trying to act like it's no big deal.

They cheat! They got caught which you bragged about would not happen...you actually have no choice but to accept that your team cheats..& on top of that sundae Tommy is a jerk!

That's because it is no big deal. The fact that the recommended penalty guideline is a $25,000 fine pretty much supports that contention. Sure that is just a guideline, but if the guideline for a crime is a $100 fine, you don't give that person 20 years at SuperMax.

I accept the conclusions of the Wells investigation. Maybe you should call out the hypocrites (including yourself) who are cherry picking which parts of the Wells Report they accept and which they do not.

You remain hysterically funny.

And blind as a bat. You dug your own hole for ages bragging about how that team was innocent.

I accept the conclusions of the Wells Report. Do you? Or are you cherry picking which parts you accept and which you don't?

You know which part I care about?

The part where they were exposed as cheaters.

I am not going to read all that. Tom didn't.

I know Rose was worse, but I saw that on Facebook this morning and thought it was funny also.

I think it is quite ironic that I am the only one in here who has accepted the conclusions of the Wells Report.

The conclusion was that Brady cheated.

I don't mean to speak for anyone else, but I'm guessing everyone breathing air accepts that.

There were many conclusions in the Wells Report:

1) It was found to be more probable than not that the ballboys deflated game balls
2) Brady was at least genuinely aware of point (1)
3) Kraft and Belichick had no knowledge of points (1) or (2)

I accept all of the above. Meanwhile, just about everyone else in here is cherry picking which parts of the report they accept and which they reject. Hence my comment that I find is ironic that I am the only one in here actually accepting the Wells Report.

You bragged FOREVER that they were innocent..you can spin it however you want..YOUR PATRIOTS CHEAT. And it's not the first time.

Funny when all that Dez stuff came out you weren't defending him post after post & he truly was innocent.

If you're not a Pats fan this is sweet! Bunch of cheaters...

Actually I did defend Dez, but why let facts get in the way of your ignorance? The only reason it wasn't in "post after post" is because it really wasn't something that was debated on this board. If I make a statement and everyone agrees with it, there's really not much need for follow up, now is there?

LMAO! Yea there was only probably hundreds of posts about Dez & that Wal-Mart incident.

He's a Cowboy though. Not a Patriot.

That's the rub..

That Dez tape thread was long as time(and started many other threads), what are you talking about?
