Oh you mean another reciever who might be unhappy about not getting the ball is telling everyone the story is a lie?

....or maybe you're just unhappy that you're wrong?

Hmm....

And Wade Phillips. And Marcus Spears.

Tony and Witten just took the "don't talk about it at all" approach.

When Witten comes out and says nothing happened, then we'll talk.

Funny how nobody other than TO will refute any of this, yet most of you think Werder is lying through his teeth.

I don't think Werder is lying, but he clearly making things look way worse than they truly are. This is something ESPN has ALWAYS done when it comes to TO.

When Witten comes out and says something negative happened, then we'll talk.

Hmm....

You have no idea how much I hope I'm wrong. But I'm not. There is extreme tension in the locker room. I am shocked at how many people just refuse to believe it.

Yeah, cause he's going to add fuel to that fire.

He was asked about it last night. As was Romo. They just smiled and changed the topic.

It speaks volumes. But hey, Werder is the bad guy.

And you know this how? Are you a janitor in the locker room, or just pulling stuff out of your butt?

Now they are about to add another BSPN brain fart, in Michael A Smith for his opinion.

edit.... My bad.. Stephen A Smith.

Hyperbole is an excellent word, but I fear Werder's story does contain some level of veracity. As I said last night, Werder deserves criticism for the overzealous and exploitative manner in which he covers negative Cowboys news and his tendency to omit key facts. However, I wonder whether or not we're being overly harsh in our criticism.

I suspect there is an element of truth to this story but sports journalism, like media in general, is all about manufacturing as much drama as possible. Personally, I think the two deserve each other.

Didn't think so. Your comment was wrong.

I don't doubt that ESPN makes things worse than they are, but there is clearly something wrong. I still say they need to find the snitch.

The silence is deafening!!!

Exactly.

Sensationalizing the story.

Where have I heard that before?

Witten said things were blown way out of proportion and he didn't understand how his name was dragged into the middle of it.

Didn't think so. Your comment was wrong.

Romo was asked if there are some journalists who lie/out to get them last night, he basically said no.
When Witten and Romo call Werder a liar, then this issue can be put to bed.

Steven A Smith is on now defending Werder

Romo and Witten are too laid back to do that through the media.

Aikman wouldn't do it either.
