What do we need (roster-wise) to catch Philly?

Philly is about to win the division b2b with hardly any resistance from the rest of the teams in the East. They are also the favorites right now to come out the NFC. Its evident now that they have lapped us (sorry homers).

What do we need to get to their level?
Nothing. We need to stop losing to teams like the Cardinals and to stop shooting ourselves in the foot. The Eagles gifted the last game to us on that final drive and we just returned the gift right back to the sender. The only thing keeping us from wining more games is us. Okay, if you had to pick one area to improve, upgrades on the o-line would certainly help.

It's all about the trenches and the ability to run and stop the run. Cowboys can match up with everything else.

You may not like jerry, but he and his staff have put together a very good roster
There’s no real difference in roster I believe it’s the HC been this way the last 14 years there’s something missing. This roster is very talented from top to bottom but somehow they come up short against better teams more frequently than they should and that’s on the HC imho

Philly is not the Cowboys problem. Their issues are all within the organization. I am not concerned with the Eagles at all. I expect them to lose when it counts the most; just like last year.

LOL they were playing the best team, best QB and best HC in the NFL and beat them and beat them so give it a rest
Yeah to all that but you can’t tell me their first half o line didn’t look great. They made the necessary adjustments and were gifted some key drops in the fourth but my point stands. They aren’t always perfect in the trenches .

Bring in a QB that helps the Cowboys beat teams over .500 and not just feast on beating massively inferior bad teams?

Probably would have hit a fan in the stands if Dakko tried one of those.
You know he has issues in big games they don't call him DAKCHOKA for nothing.
Heck, we played the Chiefs in their house a couple of years ago held them to 19 points and all we could do on offense was 3 Field goals.

We aren't getting to their level anytime soon. They went into KC and whipped them just like they will do to us when they come to Big D. They have the horses and we have the donkeys.

Philly is built from the lines out. Our OL is aging and we are much worse off at DT than they are. We need more DT help, even if Mazi Smith develops.

You won't like this, but they have a better, more innovative staff than we do. Their OL coach is a total stud and laps ours easily. Sirianni is the most punchable face in football and his antics on the sidelines are annoying as hell but the dude is on pace to win 28 or so regular season games in two years.
