(1) run offense;
(2) run defense;
(3) toughness;
(4) physicality;
(5) no jr. high coverage busts;
(6) no sulking body language;
(7) no pick sixes (luckily for SF)

Our defense stinks. That what I learned.
Bingo. GB's offense wasn;t running open the whole game. Love faced pressure and made some terrible throws because of it. SF tightened up when it mattered and made him look bad the entire 4th.

Houston and GB were the same. Looked elite last week because they played junk defenses. Got smacked in the mouth this week and had no answers. Granted, GB played much better on offense than Houston but they weren't anywhere near as effective as they were last week. Where they scored 6 TDs on their first 7 possessions. We are so weak on defense, especially up front.

Actually a good set of pointed looks and a future is even included in applications of views. Hey.

People have shouted from the rooftops for so long that he's great at drafting that they believe it no matter what. If he's a great drafter, where are the mid-late round contributors? We got Bland, but where are the OL's? Where are the LB's? The FS's? The DE's? Other teams find them, why can't we?
He is overrated. He just looks great next to Jerry.

They operate as a team. They didn't have individual egos and monikers like Hot Boyz, The Lion, and Here-Ws-Go.

They don't have players making more money in endorsements than they make in salary.

Same culture, same outcome next year.
A real quarterback.

It's toughness. Always has been, always will be.

People talk about a team's identity all the time. Think of the Ravens, Niners, Chiefs, Bills... you know what these teams are. Think of the Cowboys. Our identity is we are flashy--and soft. Beat up the bad teams, look awesome doing it, crater vs. good teams and in moments that truly matter.

We consistently lack the physical and mental toughness to be one of the best. You can point to a position, a coach, as the source of our problems but the underlying issue is a lack of toughness to overcome adversity, criticism, obstacles, challenges and take the team to the next level.

And that likely comes from the top down. An owner and GM who faces no accountability for his decades of failure and loves the limelight, in good times or bad, more than winning.

As I told a Niners fan it is better to be lucky than good. The Niners got lucky winning that game. If the Packers didn’t miss an easy fg and drop an easy pick 6 in the 1st quarter they would have lost 31-24. Such as the playoffs go
This is overlooked. Great teams often get these gifts. But the key is they then take advantage.

The gulf in regular season and play-off performances, or one week from the next (TB, followed by SF) seems to indicate a lack of mental toughness and a distinct inability to play, or raise our game, against the best opposition.

Love actually made some terrible throws against Dallas, but when no one is within 20 yards a TE can stop, turn his back to the goal line, wait for the ball, then catch it and still score.

We’re front runners with no character. If everything is going well e we can ride the train, but as soon as we have adversity they sulk and fold the tents.

What were the terrible passes Love made against Dallas? I don’t remember any.

He only had 5 incompletions, 2 of which were when they already had 48 points and brought him back into the after his backup failed to move the ball and the Cowboys were running up garbage time stats.

....and after the poor throw, Love was able to forget it and move on rather than, over think the reasons, write a thesis and apportioning blame ....which appears the Cowboys way.

It's more a matter of what Dallas has that SF and GB don't: Jerry Jones.

They have real GMs and HCs with innovative schemes capable of creating mismatches.

Better coaches

Better LBs

Those were two glaring differences.

Oh and better TBs.
