What is Dak's Trade Value?

Wilson was coming off 5 straight pro bowl seasons and had been to 2 super bowls (winning one). Denver was 100% bought in to the notion that he was the missing piece that's why they traded that much

That's completely different than the original topic of "if Dak plays bad this year and makes no noise what's his value". In that scenario that's 3 out of 4 seasons where he's played average or been injured
Interesting point, I didnt know that about the pro bowls. Not sure how he made it in 2021. That was a down year for him with only 25 TD's and less than 4000 yards.

However he was on the downside of his career and 32 when he was traded.

AS far as the topic of Dak playing bad thats what a troll would want. Dak has lead the #1 scoring offense in football the last 3 years when he is healthy. So any notion that its average or bad is what a troll would say.

Wilson also missed 2 games in 2021 the season before he was traded.

The point is that first rounders would definitely be in the conversation. Now if we wait 3 or 4 more years and Dak plays bad than sure. But I dont see that happening.

You gushed about your hero having bounce back years and winning the rushing title again. All while he continued to spiral downward as Pollard continued to prove he was the better back.
Never said that at all about another rushing title. You are making stuff up again...or.... still...

It sure is tough finding a QB that leads the NFL in INTs while missing 5 games and fails over and over in big games.

What ever would we do without Dak?
Has he fallen over in big games? The green bay play off game he balled, and the defense couldn't do sheet. The 9er game was on him but other than that what's his fault?

Nope, you predicted it EVERY year including his final year. You never stopped believing in your hero and bashing Pollard.

Every year it came back to bite you. NO more so than last year with Zeke getting cut and Pollard making the pro bowl.

I always told you with equal or similar carries that Pollard would toast Zeke. Which he did.

You always claimed that Pollard was only good because Zeke "softened them up". Pollard was nothing more than a change of pace scat back that would fade with more carries. The opposite happened of course.

It would be tough to find a willing trade partner, but maybe someone like the Pittsburgh Maulers or Birmingham Stallions?

Dak didnt play well in the Niners game, but how is the loss on Dak only?

Prove it year. No extension this year. I really got back on board with Dak after the TB game like many here in the forum did I'm sure only to try to watch the SF game and wonder why. I remember the 1992 season when Jimmy
guaranteed a win in SF in the championship game that year and dominated. The coaching makes all of the difference also. Those teams were so well prepared and confident and played at a level that gets you to SB.
I just do not feel that Dak has that in him. We do have players on this team that can take us to the show however. Lets see what happens this year, if not, trade him and hope to draft a QB in next years draft. My take on trade value for Dak would be a 3rd round and a 5th round draft pick at best this year or next.

Whatever, I am not wasting anymore time on you. Not worth my time. I have other things to do right now.
You are still making stuff up.

Both 49ers games he was crap.

The GB game was typical Dak. Play bad for 3 quarters, go down by a bunch, build a comeback only to lose, make Dak fans think I'm good because my 4th quarter stats while ignoring the whole game.

Mission accomplished.

Maybe give Dak the Cowboys 90 Oline, Emmitt Smith along with Novacek, harper, and Irvin. Oh and Darrell Johnston. Then give him the #1 defense in the NFL. Thats what Aikman had. ON top of the Jimmy and the coaching staff.

Do you think Dak would have a better chance to beat the niners?

Prescott would have to agree to the trade because of his clause in the contract so sending him to some loser is not going to happen.

And I would not limit the possible trade partners to the NFC, there are AFC team in dire need because of the competition and they might actually be willing to pony up more. A team like IND, TEN, HOU, LV, or NE. And since the marquis QB's are in the AFC, that might make it easier to sell to Prescott.

But, don't sell the value of Prescott short or his ability to help keep a GM's and HC's job for a little while longer. In spite of what they say, every team's annual goal is not the SB.

But this is all for fun, they are not trading him to any team, they will keep him and extend him. You have to consider his intrinsic value to Booger in his marketing and promotion of the team. He would rather have the most discussed QB in the media than the best one,

I didn't pay him anything.
If you are a Cowboys fan, you did. Overpaying underproductive players keeps a team from playoff success.

No one cares about the players' personal finances. It's only relative to the salary cap which is tied into building a super bowl contender. Unwise mgmt thereof gets you playoff losses.

Do the research. Seahawks got 2 firsts, two 2nds, a 5th, Noah Fant, Drew Lock and a DT all for Wilson.

Wilson was older and way past his prime.

Texans got 3 first round picks for Desaun Watson. Watson was out of football for a year and a half and was in legal trouble with the league.

And dont even bother telling me that Watson or an old Wilson are better than Dak in his prime.

Cowboys might be able to get more than I said depending on when they traded him. If it was in the next two years for sure.
Might easily get 3 firsts. No way it's anything less than a 1,2, and that's lowballing.

I don't know what team would give him a 40-50M a year contract and two 1st round picks plus. That's bordering on what an elite QB would get.
There's around 5-6 teams minimum who would jump at that, Prolly more.

I would love to see how Dak would perform if he took the helm at another half decent team like Detroit. That would be a good measure of his value.

Goff put up a rating of 99.3 in Detroit last season. Dak had a rating of 91.1.

Anyone who thinks Dak would not bring a 1st should be banned from football in general. C'moooooooooonnnnn.
