Since this is the first year he's thrown as many interceptions, I'm giving him the benefit of doubt. It's why I said maybe a new OC and/or new system next season. For whatever reason, he just does not see the field as you would expect ......especially considering he's been in this offensive system for several years'. Take a look at this..........clear touchdown to Hilton

Zeke had an easy first down as well. But this is why the rest of the world sees Dak missing open receivers, but this board constantly complains about the lack of weapons he has. He just can't read schemes at all. In these big moments, the game is simply too fast for him. Noone is going to change that for him. He doesn't have the mental ability to do it.

1. Dak- self explanatory. Will never lead us to a championship

2. Zeke- Flabby and Sick at this point. 0 burst and cant even catch an outlet pass. I wanna say hes Daryl Johnston with a nose-ring but thats doing my guy moose a disservice

3. Anthony Barr- Hes shot. Decent depth guy at this point but it needs to be the Damone Clark show going forward

4. Bossman Rat- Low IQ player that gives us more tds than a big 12 defense

5. Maher- Choke Artist. His issues are all mental. That first XP yesterday was gonna miss by a mile

Honorable Mentions: The Brown Brothers

I can nearly promise you that if Maher was worth the opportunity to kick and didn't miss the extra point, McCarthy probably would have tried to kick a FG, which could have changed the game. But instead we were going tor it on 4th downs which is a gamble. And Dallas was absolutely horrible on 3rd downs.

I’d move on from Zeke but it’s not a simple thing and would require making room to eat his money but save huge money the couple years after
I’d extend pollard and double his targets in the passing game while drafting a replacement for Zeke. Not a high pick but RB’s all over the league came from middle rounds

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/dallas-cowboys/ezekiel-elliott-18952/

- yeh the opt out would come in with the remaining years left on zeke's contract.after post june 1st cut.

- Franchise tag Pollard,

- And here's a major big key: Get an OC that knows how to scheme-design the RBs into the pass game.
Knows how to properly develop and run RB screen plays . ...

I wanted to vote for Dak but decided since his contract forbids it I would go with players realistically we can cut or trade.

Diggs- Jaylon Smith 2.0. Will not make a tackle or any physical contact and now he's not generating TOs. He's a liability

Maher- obvious reasons, we need a kicker that can make extra points.

Joseph- not worth the headache. He had one great play all.season and that was yesterday causing the TO. Besides that he's been a bust.

Zeke- we had a good run but he's washed up and expensive. I'd take him on a vet minimum but not anything more.

I think Zeke had some bad coaching. He dives at the ground on contact, does not seem to keep his eyes open looking for path of least resistance. Running like a bull up your blockers back is good for those 1-2 yards. Rarely sees the field. I blame Garret.

Players regressed after Garret exposure.

i did not vote the same but i saw a lot of good reasoning in your post...i would give Diggs more time to change his approach or whatever might be holding him back?

Is he s free agent this year or next. I'm scared we're going to pay him a huge contract and then be stuck with this type of play. I would say the 3 biggest culprits of us losing was Dak, Diggs, and Maher. Diggs has been social distancing for months now. I don't want Jerry to invest in that.

Dak is the second leading vote getter. I’m curious if you move on from him who do we replace him with that’s better? Provide the evidence they’re better or they at least give us an equally good chance of contending. Go ahead and list a bunch of castoffs that have been kicked to the curb. Lol From what I’m reading most fans want to cut him, then start looking for his replacement. That’s stupid but there’s a lot of stupid fans here.

I’d just sign pollard
It’s cheaper up front and it’s not gonna cost what Zeke got. Probably around what CMC got

I am not raining on your post, but what is going to change Dak’s propensity to throw interceptions? It’s not like ANY OC is going to say7 hey Dak, please stare down your receiver and throw an int.
Yup. Seven years is more than enough to know what you have. He's panicky and inconsistent.
I was hoping the Tampa game was a watershed moment, but he didn't come through.

Who do you want the Cowboys to get rid of during the off-season?

I tried to include any players I think several members might choose, but if there are players you want off the team not listed, post them in your replies.

If I see enough people posting the same player(s) that are not listed, I will try to add them to the poll.

You can vote for up to 5 players in this poll!
How ironic, ruffians. The two least productive and most vilified are the top earners.

None really, at this point, but that doesn’t mean I would not want them replaced via FA or draft.

Barr and Joseph are the only two I selected for now. As neither added anything. At least all the others contributed some good at times. And still can.

I want Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones off of GM duties. Changing players around won't fix anything.
