Why are we in a rush to sign Dak?

If they do not sign him, what do they do?

Anyone here trust them to pick the QB? They lucked into the last two starters.........over the last 15 years.
Apparently, most fans seem to think he’ll be easily replaced. Lol It’s pretty obvious they either don’t have a clue or haven’t been following football very long. Like you mentioned they lucked into their last two QBs. If we’re stuck with a lesser QB than Dak, we would be no better than Washington.

What's below market value?
Ideally 30 ish. I'm out at 40+ but I wouldn't have given him a second contract. The Joneses will probably reset the market with daks contract because that was daks agents plan all along and they have so far gotten everything they wanted.

No say what it is about for YOU. Have the nuts to say what its about or move on. Most of us know your game by now.

Oh ok yeah 30 is significantly lower than 40 I thought you were going to say something like 38 million...I was gonna say that's only 2 million off and I wouldn't let someone go for 2 million....but yeah either they let him walk or Dak resets the market. He can't come to the table and be like I want to make less than Daniel Jones. No matter how you or me feel about him he's worth more than Daniel Jones and Deshaun. The Cowboys have to ask themselves is he worth it for them.

Dak is a great guy off the field, on the field under pressure he sucks golf balls through a garden hose! Who is us?
You have a mouse in your pocket? I remember, I remember what you have said. Go talk to Qcard.

Just when he plays the 49-ers or really any team that fields a half way decent defense.
Per @NextGenStats, Dak Prescott went 24-for-24 for 300 yards when Eagles played zone. Eagles defense allowed points (4 TDs, 4 FGs) on 8 of 10 Cowboys possessions. Eagles’ 2nd-worst defensive performance of the season, based on EPA per drive.

He said the 49'ers...keep up.

I have no problem making Dak play 2023 and determine what he deserves in an extension. I also want to see Dak force his agent to give the Cowboys a discount if an extension is given to Dak. If Dak and his agent refuse to give a discount, definitely draft his replacement early in next year's draft. Tired of overpaying QBs, especially those who hold the team hostage.
I agree, but drafting his replacement "early in next year's draft" may be easier said than done, especially if you don't pick till #26 like we did this year.

Jalen Hurts barely got his first big pay. Dak already got his big paid contract 2 years ago. There is a difference. Just wait and see. The Cowboys are going to ask Dak for a discount if he plays well enough in 2023 but not good enough to reach a championship game but wants to remain a Cowboy going forward. If Dak refuses, get ready to see get done to him as was done to Zeke.
Of course they're going to ask him to take a discount. Then Dak is going to ask for something over-market.

Then they meet in the middle at the number both parties already know they're going to sign at lol.

If you're willing to move on from him after next year, then you trade him right now and deconstruct the whole roster to get a top-5 pick. The clock on the rebuild starts the second you decide your quarterback isn't the guy.

Man you are all on nuts the guy is more than capable not speaking for himself he doesn’t need you incorrectly doing so. Damn….

Man, I thought this was a forum? I'm capable to type also. Incorrectly doing so?
You just don't want to hear others opinion, unless of course it's about good things about you know who.

You are not even stating an opinion. Let him speak for himself. You aren’t capable of having football discussions you know I don’t do that with you. It’s personal for you. @Qcard was right.
