Why does the offense look so much different with another QB?

Dak is an NFL QB. Rush is not.

Too bad Rush cannot teach his head for the game to Dak.
Really, then what was Rush doing yesterday winning a football game against a WINNING team?
I could have sworn I was watching a NFL game.

the loooooooooooooool handoff seems to allow the defense to have more time to get to our RB's instead of it being the other way, there's certain things I like about Cooper vs Dak, but i'm NOT anointing him!!
Cooper does not have the arm for the NFL, and that will never change.

Yes, way too many times the RB gets met by defenders as soon as he gets the ball w/ Dak behind C. Why? I really have no idea. Maybe Dak is telegraphing that a run is coming?

No, it's because Rush sucks as an NFL QB. I'm not sure how else to spell it out.
Rush is like a RB who runs a 4.8. Sure, if he has a gaping hole to run through he'll get it into the secondary. But, most games/plays, he'll get stopped around the LOS.

I think Zach Martin was awful and gosling the offense back and I think Washington didn’t play very hard or good
Yeah, that's a hard pill to swallow. I love Martin, but it's crazy to me the running game looked the best when both our All-Pro Guards were out. I think Washington played like crap, agreed. But the offense did move the ball well several times, just couldn't finish.

Better stopped at the LOS than 5 to 10 yards behind it. Like another QB we know of. Either he takes a loss or throws a pick.

Oh I have kept up.

It worked...he and the team WON ... try to keep up with the WIN. From a back up QB.
No, you're not keeping up. We've been discussing why now for what, 2 pages? And you simply passed right over it. If you want to have a convo about Rush/Dak, you'll have to pass over the Dak drivel posts. If you want to just say "We won" and leave it at that, then why you in this thread?

Rush makes the O better by getting rid of the ball quicker. Read that a couple times.

I'm not sure you read the post you responded to. It was about talent. Rush can succeed at times if the opposing D lets him, but fails miserably if they cut off the short stuff. That's why he looked so bad the last couple of games but looked better this game.

Reading a D is a talent. If one is bad at it, he can become better, but you're not going to teach a 4.4 forty to a guy who runs a 5.0.

DP does not read well, so be it.
He can become better, seen, so whos has or has not been in his ear for the past 9 years then ?
How farst are ya springs to mind, clearly his reasoning to learn means he ain't. Nice 60 million though.

Seen elements of both QB play I like, but equally I dont hold out for deep play off run with either at helm.

Dak played in shotgun most of his college career so that may be why you see the difference in Offense.

Our offense looked okay yesterday but it’s still not any good. It took awhile to get anything going but some are acting like it’s better than anything we’ve seen with Dak. Keep living in the moment.

I know what the thread is about, and what was intended. I am keeping up. Stop the insults about it.
It is all you do anyway.

Yes, it is. There are way too many throws that Rush cannot make due to his bad arm strength. However, when you have a stubborn DC such as Quinn, he's going to do what he does not matter what, so Rush simply exploits that. We saw this when Quinn was in Dall time after time.
There’s some truth to this but Rush knows his limitations. His lack of arm strength isn’t why our offense was bad. He needs help and it also helps Commanders defense isn’t good but our offense was so bad I expected them to get the best out of their defense.

Of course it's two different players, but Dak was known for having more athletic abilities than Rush, yet every game we've seen rush in this year, he's been in the pistol??

I'm not trying to make this into a diss Dak thread, I just think there's elements to this offense that seem to work better with Rush in there. The game plan seems much better, the plays seem better. I'm not sure why we don't do these kinds of things with Dak. Please give me your thoughts
Because he is smarter than Dak. He may not be as physical as Dak, but his recognition skills are faster than Dak's.

Rush was going all over the place, Dak waits for CD to get open, that is his game. I would not be surprised if Rush was the starter from game one that the teams record would be better than it is.

Now, for the Dak lovers to jump in about his weak arm and other deflection crap.
