Why hasn't Eagle backup QB Jeff Garcia...

Actually NO... I am not doing the same thing to McNabb. I have looked more into McNabb than I ever did with TO.

Its pretty black and white. McNabb was a problem for the team when Garcia was QBing... Garcia even said so... the locker room is ONCE AGAIN divided between McNabb and (insert name here)...

He is holding that franchise hostage... what is better? to be a model franchise(atleast in some fans/media's eyes) OR win a darn SB... the FO seems to think the former is better.... let it be written... let it be done... fine with me

But when the same comments (soundbytes) have been thrown at TO then it is not true but because we are talking McNabb it is true. OK it must be true.

I'm not worked up but I'm not a sheep I'm not going to sit here and say because he is a Dallas Cowboy he is a great guy and misunderstood and the big bad media is making up everything. If others want to do that well that is fine by me but I'm not afraid to say what is on my mind regardless of who TO plays for. Many around here make comments on other players and what they say or do but refuse to hold our own to that standard that they expect. I will not do that.

I am not sure about how many of my posts you have read about TO... while I am pro TO I am also one that holds him accountable as a fan.... it is not 100% homerism....

• he is not completely blame free
• he could have done many things differently
• I dont blame his injured hand for many of his drops
• he should say less at times
• he should say nothing at times
• etc etc

I never saw McNabb as a puzzle and as for the pieces being put together I guess you will paint the picture you like. I hope he does not end up in Dallas I would hate to see a change of view regarding him

It was all over local tv news and the papers. i live in philly so i remember that. Basically he said if he was not going to be given a chance to compete for the starting job he would rather look elsewhere and he hoped the eagles would be upfront with him about their plans.

He never said any such thing in regards to the Eagles. He never once stated that he wanted a fair shot at the starting job with the Eagles. In fact, he explicitly stated that he knew he had only a temporary hold on a job that wasn't going to be his in the future.

You've fabricated this or simply don't recall correctly what Garcia actually said.

Garcia said that during the playoff game vs. the Giants he was trying to go over something with Qb coach with a chart and that McNabb had the chart in his hands and that Garcia had to ask for it 2 or 3 times before McNabb gave it to him

No, one of the sideline reporters said during the game McNabb was going over wide-angle pictures of the previous series of plays with one of the coaches, and that Garcia had to ask him for them (2 or 3 times is essentially a figment of your imagination, as that was not uttered by anybody involved in the game). Furthermore, Garcia did not say he had any problems with McNabb, or that McNabb was causing problems for the Eagles. That was your statement of fact.

Yes I do and by the same token I have also talked in the past about his talent and ability. I think last year did not go as good as it could have for him and my hope is his hand will be ready to go and he can contribute more to the team. No doubt he will never be a favorite of mine but I will see good and bad.

IF he ever came to Dallas we would be in trouble.... the guy is a choke artist... we dont need that.... like in the movie "white men cant jump".... Woody tells Wesley... "you would rather look good in losing than look bad in winning"...

You'll recall that T.O. had twice spoken against the "great McNabb" without retribution. It was only when he called the organization as a whole "classless" that he was not allowed to play for the team anymore. His only prior punishment was a week off during the pre-season after telling Reid to "shut up".

It was not said that he had to ask for it 2 or 3 times. And whatever was said, was not said by Garcia. It was a light-hearted moment in a playoff game, mentioned by a reporter.

The POINT is... McNabb impeded the progress of Garcia during the game... AND... when the kicked the GW FG against giants he gave a weak arse fist pump and wasnt smiling... he wanted the Eagles to fail because Garcia was QB...
