Why I feel it is Zeke or bust

Two years ago, and as usual, the defense was ultimately our undoing. Tell me how Elliott leading the league changes that, when Murray leading the league didn't.

They were close, if they had won the wash game as they should have, they would have been 13-3
and have home field thru the playoffs, or at least against GB.

In Dallas I think Dallas wins.

I have been seeing reports that indicate that there is a conflict at Valley Ranch over the #4 pick.

Jerry wants Zeke, but Stephen wants Bosa?

Who will win? We'll find out on Thursday night.

I'm hearing Garrett and linehan even Marinelli want Zeke. Here's the thing people saying our defense is going to suck.. Lawrence and Gregory aren't going to be out the entire year.. And we still have 8 picks in the draft if we draft Zeke. Hell we got rid of Hayden and we are getting Scandrick back.. So this defense isn't going to be as bad as you all think it's going to be.

Hearing all this Elliot talk tho and how the coaches want him has me thinking we are trying to bait some teams for a big trade.

Just depends if we can get pressure. If so, then our defense should be fine.

People hear lots of things that doesn't make them true. Bottom line is Zeke is unlikely to be the pick at 4 and even if he is he will only get 15 carries a game.

Teams with great offenses and average-at-best defenses fall short every year. That team was just one in a long line.

Either take the best defender on our board at #4, trade down for multiple defenders, or draft Elliott and hope for a defensive miracle.

I will take Elliott and hope for a defensive miracle. We will need one anyway with the suspensions and lack of talent on the dline. We might as well dominate on the offensive side of the ball.
With that said, I wouldn't be too upset if they picked Ramsey. I believe he is going to be a pro bowler. He just wouldn't be able to help our team much this year with such a bad dline.

I would be upset with a player like Bosa who I believe to be a dope head.

Everyone was loving DeMarco Murray and his 1800yrs two years ago but they seem to forget he was a 3rd round draft pick. Now folks want a great RB on the team again but for some reason think we have to use our 1st round pick to get it. That's just poor management of draft picks, IMHO. We can use that 1st pick to fill a bigger weakness and still have the 2nd or 3rd pick to get great RB talent. It doesn't have to be Zeke but that's the rabbit hole some folks fall in.

in some years you would be right, but the draft isnt like a home depot store, it is more like a flea mkt.
You dont have great players in every position every year, and some years , there might not be any good ones
for some positions.
What is there is what you have to choose from.
If RB position is the only position to have a great player, then you should take him.
Taking a player at 4 doesnt make him great , they have to actually be great !

If we take a QB, he could easily be a flop or bust, same for some of the others, or just not all that good.

I havent seen enough of EE to know how good he might be so I cant say for sure, but people say
he does all things good.
and he has good speed,

Also our best shot at a SB is the next 2 years, and we need the strongest run game we can have,

Heck I would get elliot, then get henry, Then see if anyone could stop our offense.
The better the offense is the better our defense will be .

What makes you think Bosa is a pot head ? I'm sure Zeke has smoke a little pot and taken some molly too. It's the culture these days. That does mean either one will have problems going forward. With that kind of mentality you basically rule out 90% of the draft.

Have you ever watched a Bosa interview? Here you go.. watch as much as you can stomach. But quiet honestly, you're wasting your time.. we aren't drafting this bonehead.

The only 3 interceptions crap is such bs this dude was always around the ball

A grand total of 3 interception and 2 forced fumbles in his career at FSU.

An average of 1 interception and 0.66 forced fumbles per season.

I love almost everything about Ramsey.... having said that the lack of forced turn-overs is eye-opening for a DB that is supposed to be a top 5 talent.

Turnovers matter in the NFL.
